Take in the mountain air on the partial wrap-around deck, by the fire pit, or soak in the hot tub under the stars and feel lost in the forest, yet you are surprisingly convenient to all the area attractions.

This property's proximity to Fontana Lake at the Finger Lake access point is one of its most enchanting features. Important Notice: Road Conditions in the Smoky Mountains
Please be aware that road conditions in the Smoky Mountains can be unpredictable and may change rapidly due to weather. Our cabin’s roads & driveways are either pavement or gravel or both. Depending on the season, you may experience road conditions such as heavy rain washouts, snow, sleet, roads covered in leaves, etc. We highly recommend using a 4WD vehicle to ensure safe travel to your cabin, especially during winter months or inclement weather. We also strongly recommend traveling in a vehicle with higher ground clearance to navigate the terrain more easily. Low clearance vehicles will not be able to access certain cabin roads including The Watershed Resort.
Please Note:
NO REFUNDS will be issued if you are unable to reach your cabin due to road conditions.
We advise checking weather and road conditions prior to your trip to ensure a safe and pleasant journey.
Your safety is our priority. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Water Conservation Policy
To ensure the sustainability of our beautiful mountain environment, we kindly ask all guests to use water mindfully during their stay. Please limit shower times, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, and report any leaks immediately. We also encourage the reuse of towels and linens to reduce water consumption. These small actions help preserve our natural resources and keep the mountains pristine for future visitors.
Run the washer sparingly.
Only run the dishwasher when it's full.
DO NOT wash your car.
Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to your visit!

Attention: Active Wildlife in the Area
Our area of WNC is currently experiencing increased wildlife activity, particularly from bears. While it’s a privilege to share our environment with these magnificent creatures, it’s essential that we all take precautions to ensure our safety and theirs.
Please follow these guidelines:
Secure all food and garbage: Bears are attracted to strong smells. Do not leave food in your car and reattach bungee cords to trash can lids every time.
Be aware of your surroundings: Stay alert, especially during dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active.
Avoid close encounters: If you see a bear or other wildlife, maintain a safe distance and do not approach.
Travel in groups: When possible, hike or explore with others, and make noise to alert animals of your presence. Keep dogs leashed at all times.
Your cooperation is crucial in maintaining a safe and harmonious environment for everyone. Thank you for your attention and care.

Hello before I leave a review I want to share with you our concerns about your cabin .Cabin needs a deep cleaning , appliances creak and crack when opening them very old and need to be updated all of them . Porch area needs to be blown off or swept before every check in ... jacuzzi needs a deep cleaning inside and the lights do not work .Outdoor pillows are moldy and unusable . The bathroom floor tiles are all loose and cracking under your feet .. shower tub needs a safety handle should be installed to get in and out of the shower very dangerous and definitely a risk .. Bathroom barn doors are hard to open and close and very noisy . Bedroom door also difficult to close . The outlet behind the bed is broken another electrical hazard . One nightstand inside the bedroom each side really needs a night stand . No closet at all to hang clothing and no iron . One set of towels for the whole stay .Grill has gas leak and stopped working as we where going to put our steaks too cook.

Camryn's Hideaway was a wonderful place for us to stay for our honeymoon. The place was clean, and simple but still had all the utensils/kitchen implements we needed to cook all of our dinners during our stay (even a fire pit and a grill!). We enjoyed how quiet it was outside at night and loved being able to use the hot tub. Our only critiques were about some of the details. The most important one we dealt with was that there was not a bear can outside and a bear took off with our garbage in the middle of the night and we had to pick it out of the woods the next morning. The trash can should be way more secure to avoid wildlife getting into it. Another, much smaller detail we found slightly disappointing was that the only games in the space were a tiny chess set and a deck of cards. There was only a single blanket in the living space and thin sheets/bedding so it was quite hard to feel cozy in the place that was meant to be romantic. A final small detail that could be changed to make this place even more romantic and accommodating-- wine glasses. There was a bottle opener but no glasses for wine. Overall, we loved this place and would even come back but there were some elements that raised concern or could just make it even better!

Nice property. Quiet and private. The road up the mountain is a rutted in places but navigable. The deck furniture was coated with pollen as it was in May. Blowing off the deck between renters would have helped. There was no internet and cell service was intermittent. We’d stay there again if the owners provided internet.

This may be the nicest place we have ever rented. It was clean, beautiful, and quiet. It’s close to town, but very secluded. We loved sitting by the fire after a long hike and soaking in the hot tub.

Nice cabin, comfortable and clean. Just the right size for the two of us and our dog. Outdoor space was nice, but not covered or screened. We did use both the grill and hot tub. Very private spot.

Dropped our children at camp and spent two nights at this great little cabin. Its secluded and quiet, just what we were looking for. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and by the fire pit with the neighborhood cat looking on. We'll be back next year.
