Wonderful lil cabin in a great location. Very clean and cozy - would stay again!

The cabin was exactly as shown in the photos. Very rustic and innovative all at the same time. Unfortunately, we were there during a blizzard and lost power for 9 hours. Communication with the property owner was excellent. Kitchen was unique and the big couches were comfortable while watching movies in the huge TV. Snowmobile trail access is about 4 blocks away.

We were very comfortable at this cabin. When exploring both Marquette and Munising, this is a great location in between the two. Beds were super comfortable. The cabin is well-equipped. When we arrived, the floors were clean - everything was clean!

Our stay was great:)) Cabin was very nice had everything we needed. Appreciated the owners sense of humor with his decorations and internet password....lol

Overall nice place. Beware of additional fees in fine print! Even though there are three bedrooms they charge 10 extra per person per day!

The cabin was comfortable and conveniently located. The only complaint would be was the yard was not mowed and the grass was high.

It was a wonderful stay!! We did so much in the 4 days we were visiting!!!

The size and location of this cabin was perfect for our family vacation. The fenced in yard and covered deck made for lovely outdoor time with our dogs. The beach nearby was great for people and pets and the cain is right between Pictured Rocks and Marquette. We did some scrubbing of pots, pans and an electric skillet that had either not been cleaned well by previous guests or not used in quite some time. We shared with the property manager about a cabinet door that is in need of repair when they came to help with another issue. The host is very responsive, so things were addressed very quickly. Overall, the cabin made a good home base for our family vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The place was spacious and clean. All the essentials were provided, including dishes, silverware, and other kitchen basics.The location is fantastic—just a short walk to a convenient store, an ice cream and pizza restaurant, and best of all, the beautiful beach on Lake Superior.

The cabin is advertised as “sight distance to Superior”, unable to see lake from any of the cabin windows or yard. Cabin was “dank” cavern like. Seemed relatively clean although the finishings were very rough wood. The owner has a sign that is meant to be humorous but considering the obviously offensive picture

This was our second time renting from Cory at 2 different cabins. The location is great. Will stay there again when we visit the UP

The property was very well kept, clean, and the host was great with communication. I will definitely be staying again when I come back up! Very very happy!

This was our second time staying here and we had a great time…AGAIN! The cabin is just our style with a great fenced backyard for dogs. Only a short walk to the lake, groceries, pizza, etc. It’s a really cool property!

Great place to stay. Close enough to walk to the lake and stores. Beautiful cabin well appointed. Nice yard for dogs to. Lots of waterfalls close by. Definitely coming back

My husband & i stayed here for our anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place. It felt like home to us! A huge kitchen with all things necessary to cook a delicious dinner, a cozy living room to sit by the fire and watch a movie while seeing the snow fall, the bed is so comfy too! If you are looking for a place that feels like home and is within walking distance to Lake Superior, look no more!

The property and location were both wonderful. The kitchen was well supplied and made making several meals there easy. The hot tub was great for enjoying the scenery and relaxing.

The property is comfortable, spacious and the back yard is very nice. It is located at 10 min from my final destination and the landscape is beutiful.

We enjoyed this cabin as a great place to return after a long day of hiking and sight seeing. It was well maintained and offered a very relaxing atmosphere.

Very nice accommodations, most days we were out and bout exploring the many waterfalls, evenings were nice with cooking over the fire pit and enjoying s’mores

The property was as described. Appreciated timely communication and ability for an early checkin with management. Overall, inside could have been better deep cleaned. Kitchen photos show great open concept but if cooking, it’s a bit impractical. No real counter area near sinks for prep. Microwave is reachable only for a very tall person or with a step ladder. The numerous dishes, pots, etc and the use of the grill was nice. Being dog friendly was a plus for us. Thanks!

This was the perfect place for my family and I to stay while we crossed something off our bucket list- kayaking on Lake Superior! We were only a 15 minute drive from where the guide service was in Munising. The cabin had everything we needed and so much more. The fenced-in yard was great for our dogs. The beautiful beach was a very short walk away, and the grocery store just up the road had a great selection of items if you forget anything. The hosts were very quick to respond anytime we had a question. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Despite the weather being fall like in August, we enjoyed our stay at da Au Train Cabin! The location was great - within walking distance to the beach, a small grocery store and restaurant. Close to Munising, Pictured Rocks and lots of waterfalls and hiking. The cabin was, well a cabin. Rustic is maybe a good word to describe it, but the beds and couches were comfy. We did not get to enjoy the outdoor space much due to the weather. The yard would have been great if we had brought our dogs.

We had a great time at the cabin while doing a pictured rocks paddle tour nearby. We also took a kayak trip down the Au Train river, kayak rentals available just across the street and they provide a shuttle. Cabin was perfect for 4 adults, huge TV was perfect for watching the Olympics! Outside space was nice too.
