Stayed Oct 6, 2025The cabin was the perfect cozy experience! We were in a prime location to get to visit all the neighboring towns (Banner Elk, Linville, Blowing Rock, and Boone). The only concern was that the main living room and kitchen were on the second floor and the steps were rather steep, so be cautious if you’re traveling with the elderly.

Stayed Jul 31, 2025This property is exactly as it is on the website, so beautiful and peaceful. We loved the accommodations. Perfect family space, from the generous size of the bedrooms, kitchen/family room and deck area. We enjoyed the home very much. It was clean and comfortable. The Beech mt and Banner Elk areas were very civic pride areas with friendly people and fun activities such as the local farmers market and art festival the weekend we were there. I highly recommend this home for a getaway. Vernon, the owner, was very communicative and kept in touch. The welcome link was very helpful and professional done. Very impressed with everything.

Stayed Jul 23, 2025Had an amazing time at an amazing retreat in the mountains. Saw deer every single day including fawns! Loved the outdoor deck area and the gigantic kitchen! Beds were super comfortable and area was nice and quiet. Would love to come back and stay here again!
