Cabin on peaceful soo lake, phillips wi. Enjoy waking up in the great northwood

Great cozy cabin. Perfect for me and my father-in-law on our hunting trip.

This little cabin was perfect for our trip. The beds were cozy and comfy me and my husband both slept great. It’s right on a small lake where we kayaked. We plan to be back with the kids. Also the campground itself was the most peaceful campground we’ve ever been to, we had the windows open the whole time and never heard a peep from the neighbors.

Very friendly, the wife and I had a great time. Beautiful area, good fishing. loved the cabin, the only thing was that we couldn't get wifi. But needed the rest from it anyways.

We had a great time! We were originally planning to go tent camping and due to thunderstorms in the forecast we canceled that reservation and found this cabin available. We are SO glad we did! The cabin is small but very much everything we needed. Yes there were cobwebs and spiders and the cabin is not fully updated but truthfully, I believe if it was - the charm would be lost! I believe the owners live across the way in a home on the property and they were kind enough to provide us with dry firewood, kindling, and coals from their own fire so that we could enjoy a fire with our kids to have s’mores. Staying here has put a strong desire in me to buy our own cabin someday with similar esthetics. Until that day - we will continue to book here in the future! So thankful for the hospitality!

Check in was easy. Cabin is cute & cozy but needs some maintenance. The couch is a sofa sleeper in cabin 1 & they didn’t even know that. Opened it up & looked like an animal made its winter home there. We tried to clean it up but the vacuum she gave us didn’t work. We had to ask for bedding for it too. Disappointed in how badly used the bathroom towels were. We didn’t even use them. A lot of items were left practically empty and needed to be replaced including soaps and toilet paper so that was frustrating. Had to go talk to someone to get replacements which it should’ve been done before we got there. There is no light in the refrigerator and it froze all our food so we had to throw it away. The water view was great tho! The windows were on the side by the water and it was a very quiet location . Lots of bird poop everywhere by the water & the docks are all falling apart. Very dangerous! We pulled next to the dock with our boat & were treated like we were trespassing. No place to even park a boat for the guests. We used our ATV alot to get around. That was the highlight for us. Trails are right there. We did enjoy the entryway for shoes and coolers. Don’t think it’s worth the price tho, but it served its purpose. Our dog enjoyed the cabin as well. Thanks for having us!

Booked on Vrbo not knowing anything about the location and it turned out to be the absolute perfect spot! Amazing fishing all weekend. Cabin was perfect. The ultimate up north getaway.

Very peaceful stay on a beautiful lake. Would highly recommend.
