Port Angeles, Washington
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of our Cedars by the Creek cabin as you explore all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer! Just minutes from town and Hurricane Ridge, yet you'll feel a million miles away from everything sitting by the creek with your morning coffee. After a day of exploring the ONP, kick back and relax with family and friends as you sit by the creekside firepit roasting smores and telling stories, take a soak in the hot tub, or a steam in the sauna. The possibilities are endless!
Cedars by the Creek cabin sits on a meandering creek tucked away in a beautiful valley just east of Port Angeles. The cabin is conveniently located for easy access to Hurricane Ridge and the multitude of beaches and hikes in Olympic National Park, not to mention the fun and activities of Port Angeles and Sequim.
Head out for a day of fun as you hike Hurricane Ridge, gaze in awe at Sol Duc Waterfall, or explore the tide pools at Salt Creek. Experience the Lavender and Irrigation festivals of Sequim or take the Ferry from Port Angeles to explore Victoria. Head to Forks to catch that giant King Salmon, kayak along the crystal clear waters of Lake Crescent, or bring the family to Marrymere Falls. There is no shortage of things to do!!
The property boasts towering cedar trees next to over 170ft of private creek frontage. Sit back and relax as you watch the many deer that frequent the property, or peer into the water and watch the salmon on their journey up the creek. In the winter months, feel free to wet your line and fish for the many trout that inhabit the waters. Use one of the creekside yoga platforms to stretch and center yourself. Sit in the back yard hot tub as you listen to the creek or steam in the sauna after a long day of hiking. And of course, there is no better place to enjoy the company of your friends and family than around the creekside firepit.
Once you come inside, the relaxing continues! The 2600 square foot cabin has plenty of room for everyone. Upstairs, a large family room and fully equipped kitchen make for a great place to hang out. Watch a movie or play a boardgame. There is plenty of space to sit and eat whether its at the dining table, breakfast nook, or patio table. And don't worry, if you have little ones- we got you covered! We have a pack and play, a high chair, childrens' plates and silverware, and kids toys and books; we have everything to ensure your little ones have a great time too.
Downstairs, you'll find 3 bedrooms, each with its own accompanying bathroom, and a kitchenette. You'll sleep in comfort on the memory foam mattresses and luxurious sheets. When you awake, enjoy the coffee bar as you get ready for another adventurous day on the Olympic Peninsula!
All areas of the house are professionally and meticulously cleaned according to CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of viruses including Covid, bacteria and mold.
Well maintained house and the property itself is lovely. Also, convenient to get to Port Angeles and into the Park.
This cabin was perfect. We had no complaints or issues at all. It was the perfect forest getaway for our family. We loved listening to the creek bubbling, seeing the deer in the backyard, and watching the leaves fall. This was the prettiest place I’ve ever been.
Spent 4 days at the property exploring ONP. Property was in a great location with a beautiful backyard. Enjoyed sitting by the water watching the salmon swim upstream and the frequent deer visitors. We would definitely love to return.
We loved our stay at this VRBO!! We came to get married in Port Angeles and this location provided us the perfect place to be together as a large family for the week. The open upstairs was perfect for large families like ours to all be together in the same place. PA has so much to offer and we will definitely be back!! Comfy beds and the home was so clean.
The property was very well maintained and clean. There is a beautiful stream that runs at the back of the property which just adds to the experience. Clean linen and the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and crockery. One of the sinks was clogged but the landlord was quick in sending over a plumber on a weekend. The only comment for improvement is having sticky pads for the bathroom mats since the floors can get slippery when wet. I will definitely refer this property to friends and visit again as well.
The home was clean and had great spaces for everyone to enjoy. The back yard backs up to a wonderful creek and is very private. The only negative is that you have to drive through a pretty sketchy neighborhood to get to the home.
This was a very nice house with a great yard. We did plenty of cooking in the well stocked kitchen.
Our family of 7 (6 adults and 1 teen) has traveled together quite a bit. This cabin is by far one of the best we’ve stayed at. It is beautifully decorated, and cozy with more than adequate kitchen and bath supplies. The back area is so tranquil you don’t want to leave. It is also a great location with easy access to Olympic NP. Only issue with the area was finding a restaurant in Port Angeles that would accommodate 7 of us for dinner. Overall a fantastic stay!
It is a nice, clean house with plenty of space for 2 families (4 adults + 4 kids total). Four days went very fast with a lot of local restaurant choices and hikes around. Thanks
The property and grounds are beautiful. The location is great for exploring the peninsula. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the smores supplies to use on the fire pit. The beds felt smaller than queen - we didn't measure but they seemed more like full sized. We had a fantastic stay and would come back anytime.
The property was amazing! We loved how beautiful it is and should have planned to spend a day just anding out and playing games.
We rented this property so we could explore Olympic National Park. Close access to Hurricane Ridge. 30 minutes from Lake Crescent. Quiet location on a flowing creek in a neighborhood just outside of Port Angeles. The property has a huge main level that is completely open concept. Everything is new. Bedrooms were comfortable. Washer/dryer was an added plus. Hot tub and sauna worked well. Excellent communication from the owner. Great stay!
The cabin was beautifully decorated and offered a fantastic view from the upper deck of the creek that runs along the back side of the house. The dining table offered good views as well of the back creek. The house has a privacy fence around it so even though it’s in a neighborhood it feels secluded when you’re in the back yard. Each room has thermostats so everyone can be comfortable. There is ample sleeping space - 4 queen/double beds and two bunk beds. The hot tub was nice, close to the back door so there wasn’t a long cold walk back to the house after relaxing in it.
Had a wonderful stay with a nice warm and cozy cabin
We were super pleased with it and would definitely stay again!
Lovely place to stay, very clean and comfortable and plenty of room, we stayed here for three days during Christmas, the house is in quiet and beautiful location, there is a small river near the back yard, plus snowing day, it's very peaceful Christmas for us. the house is so thoughtfully laid out, everything you’d need and more - I highly recommend staying here, made our trip so comfortable and cozy
The owners thought of everything. Toys, s’mores, great stocked kitchen, plenty of towels. All the towels and bedding are white which I loved. They had nothing to hide. Beds are new and comfortable. We played out by the creek all Saturday with the kiddos. Great ambiance lighting outside and in. Bunk beds were great. Perfect layout for 2 families and 3 would definitely work. Loved the tall ceilings in the main room. The neighborhood is a little rough with mobile homes spread throughout but you don’t see anything but the creek out the windows. Awesome privacy. Would stay here again!
