This Cabin was just what we needed for our Vacation. From only being 30 min from yellowstone to having the best places to eat right down the road. This place is so roomy and the outdoors feel you get here is like no other. If i had it to do all over id be sure to have this cabin in the trip. The deck is perfect for sitting down and just taking it all in and laying back chillinv after a long day of hiking . I was little alarmed when we first walked in by not having ac , but let me tell you we was there for the hottest times and with all the trees around and fans it never got uncomfortable in fact is was always just right . Coming from the midwest with humidity and heat was expecting something different. At nights soon as sun goes down temps drop to upper 40s to dry low 50s, day time expect highs mid 80s but no humidity and this cabin will stay between 67 to 78 and feel cooler then our house at 70 here in Kentucky. We was ever so pleased at how well furnished this cabin was from towels to dishes youll have everything you and your family can imagine or need . We loved this cabin and it made our 2 week yellowstone trip The best it ever could be . Such a quiet area and so laid back it is in perfect location to get to west gate away from all the crazy. For a family i couldnt imagine anyone staying anywhere else but right here. Loved having rooster to pet and love while havinv my coffee every morn as well . This place is the best by far ive stayed and will anytime i go out west .
We traveled the whole month of August, staying in several rentals. This was our favorite. Our host, Jodi, was very kind and accommodating. The cabin was very clean, the atmosphere was relaxing and we spent time floating the river, hiking on trails along the river straight out of the cabin and also sitting in lounge chairs in the shade under the trees reading. It was a perfect place to Stop and Smell the Roses ( so ta speak) Thanks Jodi, it was perfect!
Perfect location for Yellowstone. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Loved that we could borrow the bear spray.
Very nice clean cabin. Enjoyed very much. Couldn't get the grill to stay lit. But overall great experience.
The property is as advertised. Cute cabin in the woods that is about 30 minutes from Yellowstone. It was clean, quiet, and had everything you need. There are a couple restaurants, and a small grocery store that is about 10 minutes away on the way to Yellowstone from the cabin.
The cabin was perfect for us. Superior cleanliness and the peefect hostess. Great for us for Yellowstone and the Tetons.
We had a great time staying in this cabin. Very quiet . 40 min from West Yellowstone. Has everything that you can ask for... Looks like it was recently renovated. We will stay here next time when we will come to visit Yellowstone. Thank you.
We had a truly wonderful time at The Cabin in the Woods! It was such a great place to unwind after a long day in Yellowstone.
The cabin was very cozy, relatively close to Yellowstone Park. A lot of squirrels nearby. One even visited us in the cabin! We slept well in the beds.
The property was a junkyard. The cabin inside and out was in a state of general disrepair. Inside was very dirty, especially under the kitchen sink which was moldy, wet and disgusting. No air conditioning so the place was stuffy and hot. Then the owner charged an additional fee for so-called bloody sheets. Beware the owner is looking to rip you off. Given the above, the place was grossly over priced.
Fulfilled all our needs. We got rain most afternoons so didn't spend time in the outdoor spaces, but they were a plus over most places. Only minus would be the large mud puddle at entrance to driveway
The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, plenty of room, a nice place to sit outside, a nice wooded and quiet location, very well equipped kitchen. Owner was great with communication. Recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Island Park has a lot to offer. The cabin was perfect.. After a long day of hiking it was very relaxing to come back and enjoy the quiet. Highly recommend!
Clean quiet place, comfy sleeping and living areas, loved the shower. We had visits from 2 adorable dogs that the kids loved.
The cabin was a fun place for our family to stay while in Island Park for fishing & hiking. Conveniently located, the cabin has everything you need. Gas grill, campfire, area, fresh ground coffee, outside eating on the deck, laundry available, - the owners have planned well for your stay! We highly recommend!
The cabin is very well maintained, clean, quiet, and organized. There was a dog nearby with supervision. We really enjoyed the 5 days spending there, comfortable living room with big TV and fire place, full clean kitchen with grill outside, nice front yard and backyard with trees. We also enjoyed a walk nearby along thet trail. The property owner Jodi is very kind and friendly. She gave us detailed instructions of how to get there since we were late arriving.
