Great experience in this cabin. We loved the nature there, the trees around the cabin, the decoration for everywhere, we spent a funny time in the pool table and hot tub. The fireplace outside is great to take the coffee every morning and sharing with family the bbq during night. The quite there is perfect. We had the chance to see in our cabin a bear. He was there a day and the rest of night. We never left food outside but he smelled the bbq. I recommended booking this cabin.

The cabin was nice and plenty spacious for us. We were really disappointed in the lack of items it was missing. We had to buy a warm blanket, because there was none other that the thin bed spread on the bed. We had to purchase a baking sheet because there was not one. The only skillet was a small one that was only big enough to fry one egg at a time. There were no pot holders, so we had to use one of only two dish towels to handle items from the oven. The power went out and there were no usable candles or matches to light them if there had been. The only flash light was in the cabinet with no batteries. The linen was well used and did not smell well at all. The duct work to the bathroom vent was off and you could see the ground underneath. There are several more issues but overall the cabin itself was a nice cabin and had plenty of space to park. We purchased what items we needed and enjoyed our time in TN.

The house was not very clean. Cob webs everywhere. We couldn't play pool because the table was close to the banister and we was not allowed to move it. The bathroom sink upstairs does not drain good. The ice maker does not work. The outside hot tub smells really bad. For our first time in a cabin and paying over 1000 too stay there just was not worth it.

Upset we didn’t have a Mountain View, like I expected. Wanted to walk out and drink coffee and see mountains /: upstairs ac didn’t seem to work. They had some sort of window unit but it did not cool off the bedroom upstairs where a family had to sleep. Bathroom sink of stairs did not drain correctly. Kept filling up with water and would sit for 10 minutes before draining. Beds were comfortable so we all slept great! Kids loved the hot tub.

Very Comfortable beds and linens, clean. Good kitchen.Ok location to town. Long, upward drive, but didn't feel like dangerous roads. We did experience heavy rains which resulted in mudslide on one road on the way up to cabin. We had to wait for road to be cleared. Not a result of cabin, but I feel you should know. When we booked, we really wanted a cabin not so high up. I knew there was no view of mountains and that was ok, but thought we wouldn't have to go to top of mountain to get there. A few things, we traveled with my older mother and let her stay in the main bedroom. She is 5ft 6. The bed is high up and she had difficulties getting in and out of it. The bed was very comfortable, but if you are on the shorter side you might have difficulties. Also, they have a very nice hot tub. We did not use it because we are not hot tub people. The problem we experienced was that it would run most of the night and we couldn't figure out how to shut it down. It kept my mother awake because her room was close to it. In addition, I could hear it all the way upstairs in my bedroom. Didn't get much sleep. I'm sure it is on a timer of some sort. When I had to contact host, about a different matter, she was quick with her response. The cabin has a nice new deck with swing. Watch your step. They are small steps and my mother tripped and fell just as we arrived. Not fault of cabin owner, but be careful of the shorter steps that blend in together. Overall a nice stay with a couple of hiccups.

The property was nice but a bit disappointed that there was no view of the mountains from the porch. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the very large inside tub as much as we did the outside hot tub. Overall it was a nice place.

This was an amazingly cabin, very clean and had plenty of appliances if needed. It's very private and quiet. We saw a bear in the morning of our second day. He was checking out the garbage are, we saw several while driving into town. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Cabin Fever. Our only issue was the fire pit was overflowing with ash and cigarette butts when we got there. You could tell this wasn’t just from the last visitors but had not been tended to for quite some time. After making contact with the property manager/owner we were able to resolve the issue. The kitchen is pretty stocked but lacks cookie sheets to bake pizzas on. Thankfully, we found some aluminum grill pans in a cabinet to use. Come prepared with paper products as minimal items are provided (trash can liners, paper towels etc.) Also, bring extra hand soap for bathrooms/kitchen sink. We only had one in the upstairs bathroom. The cabin had plenty of space for our kids to play and did not feel crowded. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the screened in deck each morning. The cabin is close to town but still in the mountains. We even saw a black bear on our last morning!!

Overall we had a very nice stay. The cabin is cozy yet spacious. Had a very nice screened in balcony. A few things that would have been nice to know prior to staying is that we needed to bring all paper products such as toilet paper and paper towel. Some of the furnishing were in need of repair such as the stools. We made sure not to use them in fear of them breaking. We were told there was a fire ban so we could not use the firepit, but upon further research, there seemed to be no ban. We couldn't use the firepit anyway because it was overflowing with ash. We were also told to take trash out to caged garbage bins, but they were overflowing from individuals. Despite some of the issues, I'd stay here again.
