It was a rustic cabin. It is close to the restaurants in town. Easy to get to.

Great location! However various smaller issues with the cabin then a bigger plumbing issue that looks like could have been avoided with maintenance. They did upgrade us to a great place but at 11:00 pm

The positives here were: super friendly staff at check in. Checkin process was easy and smooth ..the location can’t be beat ..could walk to main rrg center of action for food, ice, music, shopping! Nice to have hot tub, and front porch was cozy! There were some negatives though that I feel mgmt could correct fairly easy. The cabin did not feel clean and the smell of mild/musty was very strong, The appliances were old and fridge very rusty which first appeared to be grime. The couch looked so dirty and felt dirty.. replacing it would do wonders!! Several electrical outlets did not work. The sink handle was broken. Also I do not agree with asking guests to load trash into car and drive somewhere else. Our car was full, and we didn’t want stinky, possibly leaking trash bags in it. It would be helpful to have trash bin on site or receptacle for staff to pick up.

It was very cozy; love the wood smell of the cabin. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking or driving. a nice surprise was the indoor jacuzzi. (Actually, the bed in that room is more comfortable than the bed in the bigger bedroom). The firepit was a nice touch, unfortunately we did not end up using it. We had also planned to grill, but I was too tired after hiking and we ended up just eating leftover Miguel's Pizza. Be aware that the grill is just a simple park or campsite grill. You'll need charcoal and foil if you can't clean the grate to your liking. Also, this cabin is not isolated. there are neighbors in full view on either side and you're just off that main road. But all in all, it was a greeat stay in a fine cabin. I will also say the office staff was very helpful and friendly.

This is a nice cabin, close to main road, but with the buffer of a river and about a hundred yards, perched right in to the hillside. It seems well maintained and in good working order, simple, but somewhat charming. Please change the couch or dress it up, since it's such a focal point to the space and it would make a world of difference. Check in was pleasant and efficient, with pretty much all you'd need for a few days stay, all ready for you at your cabin. Some cobwebs, but if you don't expect that in a log cabin you probably shouldn't stay in a log cabin. One (late on a Sunday) evening after a hike we came back to a lukewarm hot tub without power, texted the manager and he called me back in 2 mins. and 10 sec, walked me through the breaker location and stayed on the phone to make sure we were good to go, asking if everything was good and wished me a good night and stay- thank you Mike! No grill as in the pics, but one right off the porch, next to the fire pit and in great shape. We'd do it again, it was a positive experience and a relaxing and cozy stay.

Cabin is a cute 2 bed, 1 bath log cabin. It was pretty accurate to the description. The only exception is that it is not quite out in the woods as we wanted to be mostly because my husband and son set up our tent so they could also camp out but it was a lackluster attempt. The cabin is off of a main road (Narural Bridge Rd) which was a bit loud at night. Internally, there were several corners on the cabin with cob weds, which didn't bother me but pointing out for owners as that's the kind of thing that bothers other folks. We enjoyed the hot tub. Best feature of the home. We'll be back!main road (Natural Bridge Rd).

The cabin should have been freshened up before guests arrived. They were spiders the size of a mouse in there. We left a day early because the mildew smell was do overwhelming. They were dead bugs in the sheets. They sold us firewood that was so water logged and punky it wouldnt even bufn.

Very quaint cabin which is secluded but close to activity. Check in was a delight and Leslie answered a lot of questions. Wi-Fi signal was a little weak but we were able to get by. Hot Tub was good after a long day of jeeping.

This was a great weekend getaway for our family. The cabin is a bit dated with it's furnishings, but clean and what we needed. The hot tub was awesome!
