The house was in very good condition and well equipped with everything we needed. It was also very clean and cozy. The host was welcoming and very responsive.

Highly recommend!! We loved our stay here. The home was beautiful, comfortable and cozy. Inside was clean and well appointed. If I had to offer any criticisms they would be minor - doors were loud and difficult to close and the exterior spider webs were extensive. (Think that is more a reflection of the time of year!) All that being said, we hope to return in the future. It was one of our favorite rentals and perfect for our family.

We were given an early check-in but it all went downhill from there. The door code is 10 digits which makes entering not easy. Trash found on property, three beer cans which i cleaned up two of. One was out of reach under deck. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. We ran the dishwasher but a yellow liquid was evident in the washer. The upstairs tub had a disgusting yellow ring which could not be cleaned. Most doors were difficult to close and open. A lot of lights did not work. Both fireplaces are inoperable and instructions did not work. Spider webs plentiful on back deck. Beds were also uncomfortable. Too firm. Sad, because location was perfect and we saw tons of deer. Cleaning service needs to be changed and maintenance of house needs servicing.

The cabin is just as described! Very nice, clean, big, and it has everything you need. We had the best time with our family of 5. We would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway to the mountains.

This cabin is adorable from the moment you pull in the driveway. Beautiful views, lots of wildlife, and peace and quiet. The cabin was decorated so cute and everything was so clean. Definitely a 5 star rating for this place!

The Copper Lantern is a beautiful home with absolutely everything you could want or need for a mountain getaway. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The small ice maker was a nice touch. The only negative we experienced was the limited amount of hot water. We had to schedule showers and there wasn’t enough hot water to fill up the jet tub upstairs. Also the chemicals in the hot tub were too strong to enjoy for very long. The chemicals damaged our swim suits by changing the white to a brownish color that didn’t come out after laundering. We rented using VRBO and are used to communicating with a host. This home is rented through Vacasa. The Tv remote was missing in the game room and the vacasa representative couldn’t help with that or early check in questions. Overall it was a beautiful cabin and we would definitely stay again. The deer that roam around and visit were the highlight of the vacation! There are plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy the nature.

My family stated the Copper lantern for five nights. I can’t say enough about what a great time we had. Every detail in the cabin was thought of right down to the game room with jukebox. The layout of the home was perfect for a family of six and we loved our time together, where the kids were able to disconnect from their phones and even play board games together. The location was great and allow us to enjoy not only the town of Ellijay but also Blue Ridge nearby and we ventured out to Helen Georgia. We can’t wait to come back during one of the apple festivals or apple season . Tubing Ellijay was fantastic as were the wineries shops and restaurants. This was our first experience vacationing in this area and we will be back often.
