Stayed Feb 3, 2026Great house. Very fun vibe and amazing views of Wheeler Peak. Ski-in/out was definitely adequate distance. Couches need help though in the living room.

Stayed Jun 16, 2025Very nice property. The real mountain experience. Huge Timbers used, nice wood floors and bricks around the stove top, all with amazing history. We mainly just did sightseeing, , rode the lift, played some disc golf, souvenir shopped , ate out, visited among ourselves and others. The Angel Fire, Red River, Taos area is a nice place to visit.

Stayed Feb 26, 2025Have stayed at this property many years ago when the kids were still young and it was exactly as we remembered it which was perfect! The kids and their significant others are now grown and this is the first time in 10 years we have all been able to be together for our annual trip to Angel Fire. Being back at this property brought back wonderful memories.

Stayed Jan 26, 2024This place was absolutely perfect for our family getaway! We were celebrating my dad’s 60th birthday and mourning the loss of his mom (my nana) the day before. It was a much needed mountain escape with family. A few of us skied while the other stayed at the cabin with the babies and enjoyed the hot tub, sledding, watching football and playing in the snow. We used the grill to make a dinner one night and the kitchen to make desserts. The kitchen is well stocked. Our only issue was we didn’t have enough towel between showers and hot tub use. Thankfully there was a washer and dryer that easily solved the problem. We also had issues with wood shavings from the wooden beds. I would also recommend bringing your own curtains if you have babies that need dark to sleep. We saw deer and were able to use the sleds to have fun outside. The ski trails were easily accessible from the cabin. The drive in to town wasn’t horrible either. This place was a perfect weekend retreat.
