Buckeye Bear's Den-AC*-Walking Distance to town

The house is much roomer then you expect. Plenty of seating area with 3 couches. Beds are very comfortable and firm. Perfect distance from town and the lake.

Great cabin, very convenient location. The air quality was pretty bad because of the fires which spoiled our vacation a bit, but the house has AC units in each room, so that helped.

Great location to Shaver town. Loved the big dining table, outside patio and the amount of seating in the living room. I would have liked handrails on the stairs, especially when taking up our luggage. But other than that, the cabin was a great place to stay. Our cabin host was very prompt when responding to all my questions. She also made great suggestions on where to eat and places to explore.

Very Cozy! Our large blended family fit comfortably and absolutely enjoyed this home. We all agreed that we would love to start a family tradition of meeting at Buckeye Den for annual family getaway. The large living room and large dining table gave plenty of space for children and grandchildren and even our fur baby Daisy. We loved this home!

We had a fantastic time at this cabin in Shaver. The living area has plenty of seating and we all enjoyed sitting around the large dining table and playing games. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of pots/pans/utensils/plates/cups for cooking. The basement game room was especially great for my teenagers. It snowed while we were there and the fireplace kept us cozy. I would definitely come here again!

We loved this cabin! It was cozy but big enough for our family get together. Our children enjoyed the kids room and all the board games that were there for them to use during our stay

This is the third time we have been able to use the cabin. Everything is perfect about it, location, 4 bedrooms, amenities. Jamie the host is always on top of things if needed. The kitchen has everything you need and its walking distance to all the food places or grocery stores in town if you need them.

Wonderful location, well equipped kitchen…we all had a blast! Thank you!

My family of 12 has been getting together for the past 23 years. Our goal was to travel to different locations and tour different cabins and lakes. This cabin was hands down the best thus far. The Host takes great pride in this cabin and the amenities were top notch from the beds being super comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked we had no needs at all. We had some really amazing family talks around the big dining table and outside patio.. The host was always available for any questions I had prior to our scheduled date . We will be back. Thank you

We as a family send time each summer in Shaver Lake. Each year we stay with a new cabin/host, but we think we've found the perfect fit for us with Bear's Den.
