We had a wonderful stay. The equipped kitchen made packing for meal prep a snap. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The area is wooded and quiet. The front porch, deck and firepit area were perfect and where we spent most of our time.

Older cabin but great for kids with upsairs loft, kids enjoyed the spiral stairs. Being pet friendly was a plus. Cabin also had everything needed for a weekend stay.

Everything was a little dated. Bath faucet barely ran. Bathroom a little cramped. Couldn't shave without using the bathtub faucet. Bought a frozen Pizza but the Oven didn't work. Floors are really weak in several places covered by rugs. The outside was nice enough but needs a little cleaning up!!

Everything was just as expected. Check in was easy and the stay was pleasant. The floors need some updating as they have seen better days but we still enjoyed our stay. It was a cute little cabin.

The inside was cozy & decorated nicely but lots of dust & the outdoor area was not very inviting or maintained very well as it was not easy to navigate without tripping on vines or poison ivy. The grass did not seem to be mowed regularly.

This place was perfect for our family get away! The kids loved the pond and playground, and we all enjoyed the rustic feel inside the cabin. It was peaceful and relaxing yet close to nearby attractions. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy the state park and outdoor activities plus the nearby shops, dining, and tourist attractions as well!

It was a place to stay, location was fine but the house needs work for sure. Flooring coming up and covered with carpets, coffee maker doesn’t keep the pot hot. One stair is loose and made my wife worry to much. For a small place ac wasn’t the best. We didn’t stay at the house much as we were out and about but for the cost and fees this place should’ve been have the price I believe.

My husband and I, along with our two teenage daughters, stayed here for three nights. The cabin was adequate for our needs, but definitely on the rustic side. The kitchen was very minimal (no dishwasher, and the oven, stove, and microwave were small and outdated) which made cooking meals a bit of a challenge. We expected a compact space, but the layout of the living area made it feel even more cramped. The kitchen table was heavy and positioned uncomfortably close to both the fridge and the sofa. We couldn’t sit together for meals or play board games at the table without first rearranging the furniture. The cabin sits on a small pond shared with several other cabins, which were much closer together than we expected. It felt more like a campsite than a secluded cabin getaway. We could clearly hear neighboring conversations in the evenings while sitting outside. Also, there were no blinds on the windows, just very thin curtains, which didn’t offer much privacy, especially with other cabins in such close proximity. While we don’t mind older or rustic accommodations, this one felt a bit worn and not particularly well-maintained. But the location was great, very convenient to Beaver's Bend, which made getting to and from the park easy.Overall, it was a step up from tent camping - but not by much.

From the time we arrived we immediately fell in love with it. Cozy but not too small. Spiral staircase to the upstairs loft was really cool but we stayed in master bedroom downstairs. It’s perfect for kids up there. The convenience to Hochatown is the best. Communication was top notch before and after our stay. Zero issues and totally satisfied. Will definitely be our go to for future getaways.

We arrived in the evening and found it hard to see the cabin and driveway as there was no lighting at all. This made the first impression of the cabin rather creepy. It was also very difficult to unload the car with only our phones for light. We were told, after arrival that the floodlights and side porch light do not work. We also noticed solar lights on the deck and steps that did not work either. The cabin appeared to be relatively clean. The toilet is very low flow and had issues flushing. It finally stopped flushing and overflowed. I texted, then called the host, who told me that we were supposed to put the soiled toilet paper in the wastebasket not the toilet. She insisted this is what everyone in the area does. I have not heard that before and this was not posted anywhere at the property or in the house rules. The host did come to the cabin and cleaned up the overflow and got the toilet working again. We were very appreciative of her effort. The microwave kept losing power and I had to reset some button on the electrical outlet to get it power up again as I was also using the stove, the toaster, and the coffee maker at the same time. As we were packing up to leave I checked all of the rooms and was looking around the beds upstairs for anything that we might have left behind, and found dried vomit (not left by us) on one of the bed skirts. I would not stay here again or recommend to anyone. The cabin is in need of repairs and renovations.

The cutest little cabin ever! This was the perfect little place left a small family. Took the daughter and the grands, and they loved the swingset and the fire pit. The linens were clean and so soft! All the beds were comfortable and provided a good nights sleep! Do yourself a favor, and consider this booking! We will definitely be back!

The cabin was clean although had a strong musty smell. There is no closet to hang clothes. There is no dishwasher. Quiet Setting is pretty with a pond and deck. Large TVs were nice. Convenient to many things in Hochatown.

We enjoyed our stay! The Cabin was clean and cozy, and had nice cookware. That's always a big thing for me, cause I cook most of our meals. Although the road was busy, it was quiet. Fishing was a little difficult, due to the grass in the pond, but still added to the scenery. Would 100% recommend staying here!

The main thing that lets this property down is the lack of attention to detail. The oven in the cabin ruined 2 meals and made us eat out the last 2 days of our stay. It will not cook properly, and should be replaced. None of the lighting outside works except for right over the door, the sink fixture in the bathroom moves around when trying to turn the handles. There was a massive amount of charcoal ash just dumped out all around the grill and it had just rained so to be able to cook anything at the property I had to walk/step in all of it. Pullout recliner sofa in living room on 1 side was broke so I had to turn couch over and manually recline every time. Pretty surrounding off of the back deck and nice fire pit area and the master bed was comfortable.
