Breezy Bear cabin is a true dove-tail log cabin, perched on top of Walnut Mountain in Ellijay, Georgia, with incredible partial mountain views. Nature abounds and you could see deer, wild turkey, and maybe a bear or two, Walnut Mountain boasts hiking, fishing and swimming (guests will have access to the Walnut Mountain swimming pool). This cabin is pet (dogs only) friendly, but with restrictions. You must inquire before booking for pet approval.

Stayed Dec 30, 2025This cabin was way better than expected and location was perfect. We enjoyed the cabin very much. Everything g we needed was there. And it was per friendly. They even had a dog bed and stair guard. The only thing I can say that was not up to par was the TV set up with Roku. I couldn’t figure it out, but my daughter did and I just couldn’t understand. So I watched the cable set up. Other than that, we had a great stay and it was close to activities we wanted to do during the stay. I would stay again, even with that new fangled Roku thingy.
