The land the cottage was on was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the goats and other animals. The cottage was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. Our hosts were great. Very easy to communicate and helpful. It is in a great location. Out in the country, but not far from shops and restaurants.

Beautiful location on a farm. Enjoyed feeding the goats and donkey. Rural yet close to many places of interest even in February. Laweranceburg had everything we needed. Our dog enjoyed it too! The cabin also had all we needed. Host responded quickly and kindly to any inquiries.

We had an amazing stay at Ryan’s and Kim’s cabin in Kentucky! The place is peaceful, cozy, and has that perfect “Kentucky getaway” feel. The wildlife and farm animals made the trip even more special — we spotted deer right off the porch, watched cows and goats roaming the property, and absolutely fell in love with the sweetest donkey you’ll ever meet.If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with charm, comfort, and a little bit of country magic, this cabin is the spot. Highly recommend!

Kim was able to accommodate an early check in so we could get to the distillery tour on time. Once we arrived, I didn't want to leave! I immediately messaged her asking for another night but unfortunately (for us) they were booked. The cabin was so cozy and welcoming. The views across the farm were beautiful and access to the pavilion was a bonus. We are already planning a trip back with an extended stay. Thank you again for the warm welcome.

Owners were so friendly and helpful with questions about the area. The cabin and grounds were so quiet. The area felt very safe because you are actually on the owners' farm. The cabin has everything you need and is very clean. The bed is super comfortable. The owners left a cup of goodies so we could feed the animals. It was a perfect place to stay and close to Frankfort and many of the distilleries.

The overall property, on a farm was well maintained! Farm animals friendly and clearly well cared for! The cabin we stayed in was well appointed, the cabin was spotless, well maintained, comfortable. It felt all comfy, warm and fuzzy when you were inside! The outside deck (with furniture) was nice to sit with morning coffee and enjoy the beautiful view, listen to the birds and breathe the fresh air!. The large outdoor covered area with a fireplace, chairs, tables, games was fun! The overall feeling of this place is peace and quiet, naturally, a joy to experience, we are grateful ! We WILL stay here again the next time we are visiting KY-Thank you ! Rebecca and Keith

Cute and fun family farm. The cabin had all the needs you could think of. Kim and Ryan are great host and are super welcoming! Fully functional farm with animals all around. The welcome committee is “Smokey” the barn cat (Bandit wasn’t available this trip, healing from a Vet visit). We came to Kentucky with our 2 Boston Terriers to visit multiple distilleries in the area and this cabin was central to all that. Great to wake up and have a cup of coffee while looking over the beautiful property. The caboose would be fun to stay in, which is also on the property. 10/10 recommend for others to stay. Would be fun to rent out the cabin and caboose with the family and enjoy the property together. They have a nice area to entertain with large tables and games. Also, really enjoyed feeding Otis the Donkey carrots and apples. If you just want a relaxing getaway, this is your place!
