I want to give zero stars to keep other people away from this lovely place, but that wouldn't be fair to Carla. What an amazing place! It's like staying at a good friend's house. . . I've never been to a better appointed rental. Go in eyes open though, it is VERY rustic (it's a historic cabin, after all).Incredible beauty. Best spot near Sunriver.

Blinn's Landing is a lovely slice of paradise, the landscape is gorgeous and peaceful, a wonderful respite from the outside world. Carla has the cabin and surrounding areas well-stocked, warm, and cozy, everything needed for comfort, with some great extras thrown in. The crystal clear waters of the Spring River a are sight to behold and we thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking adventures! There is something for everyone here, it's remote enough to get a way from it all, yet close enough to town if you choose to go that route. This is a really special place with a fascinating history that we'll definitely come back to, thank you for your thoughtfulness and hospitality, Carla!

We’ve stayed at Blinn’s Landing before and loved it. Our second visit was no different. The property is set in a magical location on the bank of the Deschute river. The property is well equipped, particularly if you like to cook as we do. You can choose to relax on the dock or be more active on the river, whilst Sunriver or Bend are only a short drive away. We are already talking about when we will visit again.

Carla was a great host, and property was amazing! Our first trip to the Deschutes River/Forest area and it was an awesome experience. The Cabin itself had everything you could need and location on the river was perfect to hike, bike, SUP, canoe, or float. Perfect location to just hang out at or as a launch pad for day trips in the surrounding forest/Bend area. We saw deer, bunnies and chipmunks every morning with coffee on the dock. Couldn't ask for a better trip! 10/10...would recommend!

We really enjoyed the solitude and quiet atmosphere of the property. It was really nice to not have other people around us but we did drive into The Village to go bike riding with the kids and let them play in the pool over there. In the evenings the stars were bright as could be without the light pollution from the town. The riverfront setting was especially nice with private access to the river, though you do see and hear people floating by throughout the day. That didn't bother us and we had no issues with people having fun on the river. We will definitely come back and stay here again in the future.

Kids loved the new location of the tire swing. Wish the weather would have been more cooperative. Looking forward to our next visit.

This property is indescribably special, private, and authentic and descriptions and photos just don't do it justice! Our little family of 3 and the dog spent a week here during Covid. If you like rustic and historic but comfortable, this place is for you. It really felt more like staying in a family cabin (that you are lucky enough to be invited to) than a vacation rental- So many little touches that make it feel like home, like fresh ground coffee, a selection of local craft beers, a little herb garden, and lots of little extras in the form of a very well stocked house. Don't worry if you forget something :) Carla was great to deal with and her personal tour of the property when we arrived made us feel welcome and comfortable. From the cabin you can float the Deschutes down to the Besson day use area (float time is 30-40 minutes) then a 10 minute walk back to the cabin- perfection! We also rented a couple of paddle boards in Sunriver and paddled from Harpers Bridge to the cabin. We are already thinking of coming back next year, such a special place!
