PRIVATE HOT TUB!!! We call this intriguing little place, The Bigfoot Inn. The cabin is located about 1/2 mi off of Hwy 10 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is less than 2 mi from the Illinois River. Plenty of parking available. This adorable space is 400 sq ft with a large loft and room divider for added privacy. The loft has a TV, queen size bed, twin size bed, seating and bedding. The first floor has a single hide-a-bed and seating. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the woods.<br>Guests are free to use all of the Bigfoot Inn and surrounding amenities: Hot tub, rolling partition/cabinet/cooler, cornhole, horseshoes, hammock, firepit, BBQ Grill and more!
We also offer Discovery Plus, Netflix, Prime Video and many more free channels on both TVs for a relaxing evening.
Several original acrylic paintings are available for sale on-site! Make offers, payable by cash only.
Responsible adults are appreciated.
Pets are welcome at Bigfoot Inn but please add your pet to the reservation by clicking on Travelers and I am traveling with pets to add the $25 pet fee. Pets are not allowed to be left alone in the cabin while guests are gone. Pets can be left alone in the yard but we only have a 4 ft fence and we cannot be held responsible for pets.
We are right in the middle of 4 float operations, 2 miles North of Diamondhead & War Eagle, 1 mile South of Peytons Place and 3 miles South of Eagle Bluff. We are a little over 1 mile South from Edmondson (Combs Bridge) access point which is one of many public access points where anyone can bring and use their own floatation device or spend the day fishing, hiking, etc.
Public access areas on the Illinois River are open for people to visit seven days a week. Those include Round Hollow, Stunkard, Peavine, Edmondson (Combs Bridge), No Head Hollow, Todd and Echota. Echota and No Head Hollow feature boat ramps, while the others have gravel bars from which guests can launch their boats. The Illinois River is an excellent fishing destination for catching smallmouth and largemouth bass, channel and flathead catfish, walleye and various sunfish.
Sparrow Hawk Wildlife Management Area and J. T. Nickel Family Nature and Wildlife Preserve are both nearby as well and open daily for hiking!
Exact address will be provided after booking reservation and door code will be provided the day before arrival.

We were highly impressed with this place. It’s really small, but so well designed it felt spacious. We only stayed one night, but we will be doing a longer stay here in the future.

Remote and quiet but close enough to Tahlequah or Illinois River activities.

Easy check it … private even though it is within close proximity to the host house. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area and the hot tub. The cabin stayed ice cold!! literally 5 minutes away from Diamondhead and 10 minutes away from the food trucks on Highway 10.

Definitely remote and quiet. Upper loft is kind of tricky for big people (low ceiling!), but was workable. Nice hot tub and outdoor area!

It was peaceful very quiet. I did like the little scavenger hunt ordeal looking for Bigfoot my wife and I made it out of a competition who would find it first lol

We enjoyed our stay. It was smaller than expected for a 4 person cabin. It would be great for a couple. We made it work and enjoyed the experience.
