Ski Out:
Enter trail directly behind your cabin. This is the Chief Gull Access Trail. OR ski down your driveway to Rosebud Loop and take a left. At Rising Bull go left. Follow the trail downhill across Rising Bull Road to access the Buffalo Hide Access trail. You should see the maintenance building on your right. Follow downhill to the White Otter Lift to load. Exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)

We had 4 couples stay for 5 nights. The layout worked perfectly. Ski-in/out was wonderful and easy. The house had all the necessities we needed.
Really enjoyed our stay. Backyard is a steep hill, a bit different than expected from photo, and the back porch is pretty hot until the sun goes down and doesn't have a view of the beautiful surroundings, but in general we really enjoyed the property.
Extremely dirty conditions in the cabin.
This property had exactly what we needed for a wonderful family vacation. We would definitely come back again.
The views in Big Sky are amazing, the cabin is nice and taken care of. Everything is not brand new and that's ok as you'll probably either be skiing or sight seeing.
Nice property, everything was clean. We were frustrated that the media was very outdated. We were not able to stream movies. A common, inexpensive device would have solved the problem. Also, the Kitchen faucet was broken and there were no towels.
This is a beautiful home. Very well stocked. We had a great time. Ski out very easy, ski in just slightly confusing, watch signs carefully.
Coming from a family who has vacationed in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Japan, and other places out of our country, we were thrilled with Big Sky. We had never been to Montana before and had been wanting to tour the national parks with our kids for the past few years. We booked this house months ago and it was perfect for the 4 adults, 2 teens and 4 kids that we had in our group. We spent 4 days here and hated to leave. Some of the summer activities that we enjoyed were several hikes, zip lining at Big Sky Resort (just down the hill), white water rafting on the Gallatin River and 4th of July festivities. Each day was spent outside with nearly perfect weather. We loved coming home to soak in the hot tub (evenings got cooler) and relax around the fire pit. All of the amenities were great in the house. We found it to be clean and comfortable. The dishwasher doesn't work so great and the stove is dated but there were plenty of dishes, pots, pans and even a pancake griddle. I wish we would have found the alarm clocks in the bedrooms before leaving but they were tucked away in a cupboard. No biggie. It was nice that the family room had several blankets strewn about. I loved taking a rocking chair out on the front porch each morning with a blanket and my coffee. So peaceful! We had 2 foxes visit us, a couple of deer but the highlight was a mama moose and her baby!! They literally walked right out in front of us! We kept our distance but they were magnificent! Overall we easily give this VRBO 5 stars! And coming in the summer cost a fraction of what this house would have cost at peak ski season! This summer loving girl was happy!! :)
We loved this cabin in BiG Sky, but we probably wouldn't return. We had 4 couples, 8 people total and it was a little cramped. The photos made it seem a little bigger. The ski out was great, straight down the road to a lift. However, getting back was a challenge, it was about 30 minutes of Cat Walk to get back and then you have to hike up the hill to get to the house. The hot tub was nice but our grill did not work and we had to cook all of our burgers and dogs on the stove. Overall it was a nice house, but we would prefer something different next time.
This place was perfect for my extended family get together. The ski-in/out was a little tough because of all of the fresh snow and flat ground, but definitely a good problem to have. A word of warning, the driveway on this unit is really steep, so you need a 4wd vehicle just to get up and down.
