Big Red Cabin 5 min drive to Pinecrest Dodge Ridge Starlink high speed internet

Great cabin for families. Kids loved the game room and were entertained the entire trip. Very close to snow activities and only 20 minutes from Leland Snow Play (our favorite!)Plenty of fresh and clean towels, blankets and linens. Beds were quite comfortable. Clean bathrooms. Lots of DVD's to watch by the toasty fireplace. We would absolutely go back!

We totally enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very clean and cozy. The Christmas tree was an unexpected treat that our little ones loved. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you needed. The pantry items and toiletry supplies were an added bonus. The game room was perfect! We did leave some items that the next guests can use. Already looking at dates for next year’

We had a wonderful time the cabin was very stocked with anything we needed. Made wonderful memories.

The cabin is in a great location! I was willing to overlook the cleanliness of the cabin due to the fact the layout was nice, and there were some perks. The window seals need some attention and so does the vent above the stove top. I had to wash the pans and cutting board before use because they were not clean. The inside of the cupboards NEED a wipe down. I don't want to knit pick, but I do feel it is my right since we had to leave a day prior to checkout. Friday and Saturday we kept the cabin at a comfortable temperature that was provided by a single wall heater on the main floor and a gas fireplace. There was also a wall heater on the game room floor, but we kept that door closed. Sunday my husband went snowboarding and I turned off the gas fireplace because it was starting to get hot, BAD decision. The kids and I went for a walk and when we came back, I went to turn it on, and it wouldn't turn on. I went to the wall heater to turn the temperature up, but it wouldn't turn on. I figured the issue was something small since the gas stove was working and the wall heater downstairs was working. The day went on and my kids, and I began to get cold. My husband returned tried to fix the heater and gas fireplace, but it wouldn't turn on. HOST IS A JOKE! She wanted up to stay for 1.5 hours for her to arrive to see what was going on. It was Superbowl Sunday. We LEFT! Host has terrible communication and no sympathy for her guests being cold. WOULD NOT REFUND THE LAST NIGHT.

We spent a few days here with 3 families and had a wonderful time! It was quite conveniently located for some hiking and snow play near Pinecrest and Dodge Ridge, and the house itself was perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, a nice open hang out area for everyone on the main floor, and of course the kids loved the basement!

The Big Red Cabin was perfect for our annual family vacation. Plenty of room for fun, plus enough room to sit on the couch and relax. For an older home, it was well equipped and a great value for the price!

Nice area, close to Pinecrest and the river. Overall family had a great time there.

Fantastic property for large family gatherings! Game room is fun for everyone! We were going through a heatwave and ac would have been nice
