Big Bear's Most Unique Location! Amazing View, Wood Fireplace, Backs To Mountain

Loved the view. Great place to stay

We absolutely loved staying at this home. It was so peaceful and comfortable. We brought our own outdoor chairs which worked out amazingly because we spent most of our time outside on the beautiful deck. The heater worked well and we were impressed with how many extra blankets were available. Definitely want to go back to this quaint little home.

The property was disappointing. The host doesn't mention the long flight of staircase to get to the cabin which is very inconvenient. The interior of the cabin is very old and not enough heating so it's very cold in the rooms. I don't recommend this place if you have children. I give this property under average at best.

Great place to stay! I am in the process of purchasing a home in Big Bear and it was so nice to stay at a house that is well kept, quiet and jas everything we needed, including stunning views

The driveway was covered in 2 1/2’ of snow. As was the stairs leading up to the door. I drove for hours and arrived late at night only to find I couldn’t park my truck in the driveway. Then I had to stomp my way through the snow to bring my belongings up the slippery stairs. I couldn’t park in the driveway or park in the street for fear of a snowplow hitting my truck. I had to spend an hour trying notch out enough area from the driveway area to get my truck off the road enough to not get hit. If this is how the owner/property management treat renters I’ll tell everyone I know to avoid this property like a virus.

I liked that it was cozy and quiet, beautiful view to the lake. A little outdated but had everything you needed for a great stay. Communication with host was easy.

Stayed for a long weekend and it was cozy and quiet. We sat for hours looking over the lake and played cards in front of the fire place. Great place to do nothing at.

My small family of 3 and I loved this place & we have stayed all over the mountain. We will definitely be coming back and recommending people. The nostalgic decor & coziness with a lake view was awesome! Thank you!

Super clean, comfortable and well equipped cabin. The view of the lake was very nice from the spacious patio as well. We enjoyed our stay!

Location was good. Overpriced. Check in instructions and the fact that I had to provide my credit card twice, once to Travelocity and again to property management was redundant and annoying. No WiFi. Even burj al Arab check in is not as tedious and that’s a 7 star hotel

The cabin matched the vibe of big bear; it was cozy and warm to contrast the cold rain. We loved snuggling up and playing games.

Cozy spaces and clean linens

The view was perfect. The property was dated but we enjoyed the balcony and view so much it didn't matter. I did cook dinner one night, again dated kitchen utensils but they had everything I could possibly need to make anything. Town was just a couple minute drive, lots to do.

Loved the property.. the hot water stopped working on the second day was the only issue.

Great place right near the lake, cozy cabin perfect size for my Family of 4. The host were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay, they even let us check in early, which we greatly appreciated. we will definitely be coming back to the spot hopefully in the winter specially because it’s no more than a 10 minute drive from the town. Highly satisfied!!

Loved it!

This is my second time staying at this location, first time during the summer. It's on the opposite side of all the hustle & bustle. Being able to walk across the street and touch the water this time (last time was winter). The kids had the best time and just a short drive to easier hikes as well as the Alpine Slides. I would definitely recommend, great spot.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We've never stayed on this side of the lake and not regret it. The place itself was just perfect for our family. Right across from the water with amazing views from the huge deck. They were very accommodating hosts, would absolutely book here in the future.

Absolutely Horrible Stay – Avoid at All Costs!If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would! This was by far the worst cabin I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the listing was completely misleading.First, the place was filthy—dust everywhere, stains on the furniture, and a horrible musty smell that never went away. The floors felt like they hadn’t been cleaned in months, and the bathroom was disgusting. We even found hair in the shower and sink, which was beyond gross.Second, the cabin was falling apart. The heater barely worked, leaving us freezing at night, and the water pressure was terrible—sometimes the hot water didn’t even work! The beds were rock hard and uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. Not to mention, the walls were so thin that we could hear every single noise from outside and the neighboring cabins.On top of that, the customer service was awful. We tried contacting the host about these issues, but they either ignored us or took forever to respond. When they finally did, they were completely unhelpful and rude.Oh, and don’t even get me started on the false advertising. The photos made it look cozy and modern, but in reality, it was outdated, dirty, and barely livable. They also claimed there was Wi-Fi, but the signal was so weak it was useless.Overall, this was a nightmare of a stay, and I

Checkin and out process was great. Property was as advertised and very clean and well labelled. Would rent it again.

We spent most of our time out on the deck watching the sunrise, eating meals and just enjoying the view. Lovely cabin that had everything we needed. We got to bbq the first night and I was able to cook homemade Lasagna the next night. I hope to start again soon.

Beautiful location with a stunning view of the lake and sunrise. In the peak of summer, it was a bit hot in the cabin at night (no A/C), but we managed with the many fans provided by the owners. Zero complaints. Highly recommend.
