This adorable Studio, with full kitchen and bath, BALCONY and the most amazing VIEW IN THE SMOKIES!!! Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.
The Sugar Shack boosts stunning views of the Smokies and you can watch the train go by! It is conveniently located within 5 minutes from downtown Bryson City.

This space is quaint and cozy, better than any hotel at 1/4 of THEIR price. This is a Carriage House, Studio so it is about the same size as a hotel with FULL KITCHEN AND PRIVATE BALCONY. 2 Miles from town.
With this property you get a full size RV carport, gaming area. New paved asphalt driveway all the way up to the cabin, no need for AWD. It is located on a huge 2 acre property. It is beautiful beyond measure with a nice size porch. It is Mountain Modern house in every sense of the word.
You won't be disappointed, I guarantee!!
Queen bed with super soft and rich bedding! Everything you need to cook an entire meal. Beautiful outside dining.
5 Stars all the way!!!
This rental is at the top of a steep hill, on a lane that is gravel and filled with pot holes. The rental is tiny and is essentially a room behind the carport. The bed is crammed between the walls and if two are sharing the bed, one has to climb over the other person to get in or out. Sizing up the place I looked for space to put our 2 suitcases and there was no luggage rack to set them on, only the floor or the bed. Venturing out onto the patio were a couple chairs and a small table. There were no chairs or table in the unit! The thought of sitting outside in April in the frosty or rainy mountaintop air, to drink coffee or have a meal quickly reinforced that this was not a hospitable place. After seeing what the rental really is like, we decided not to stay. So lesson learned, look more critically at the images. If you don’t see something, it is not there. Pick a place with many positive reviews! In conclusion, if you are traveling alone, on a yak, with a wine skin and a backpack and looking for an overnight stay, this could be the place for you.
We booked this place for the view and proximity to hiking, and it delivered on both 100%! We spent three perfect mornings sipping coffee and watching eagles swoop across the valley while the clouds rolled over the mountain peaks beyond. Anyone looking for a simple, affordable stay with basic amenities close to world-class hiking and biking should consider this place. Two small things could have improved our stay: 1. The host's instructions were great; however, we arrived in the dark, and after getting up the steep gravel driveway we weren't sure we were in the right place, as there are no house numbers or any lights outside the main house. One additional sign at the top of the driveway or some lights to show the way would have smoothed out our arrival process. 2. The mountains are damp, no way around that. I think this cabin would really benefit from a dehumidifier, and anyone sensitive to mildew might want to keep this in mind. Ultimately, this is a clean, centrally-located spot with a next-level view, and we would absolutely book it again. Thank you, Valentina!
