BEST view •hot tub •pool table • 2 king, 2 queen

Stay was great! The cabin has a beautiful view of Gatlinburg and the mountains. The driveway was a little inconvenient to turn into but not a big deal! We did see BEARS! I will forever remember this cabin for the view and getting proposed to at the cabin! A memorable stay!

This cabin is just as described. Beautiful views from the patio and perfect for a large family or group of friends. The driveway is steep and has a sharp turn so consider that when choosing a vehicle to bring. We saw a mama bear on our porch and her babies in the woods by the cabin. Unfortunately a bear did break into our car (not the rental’s fault at all!). We had no food, drinks or wrappers in it and it was locked but it still got in presumably looking for food. So stay aware and follow the wildlife rules!!

This was the perfect home for a family vacation! Great views and comfortable accommodations! You get the true mountain experience with the drive to the house, but we had no trouble getting in or out. We loved watching the Ober Gatlinburg tram, enjoyed many games of pool, and soaked in all the wonderful views. The home had everything we needed and the hosts even offered to give us fresh towels or extra supplies if needed! Our entire trip was made when Momma Bear and 3 cubs came to visit. The cubs played around the hot tub, while momma took a short nap at the front steps. Great home! We will definitely be keeping it on our list for future visits to the area!

The location and view from this house, the pool table, shower/water pressure, exploring attractions and seeing all the bears made this trip worth while. A few misfortunes were bugs near the kitchen sink area kept appearing throughout our stay (small water bugs), alot of the surfaces, including the hardwood floor and appliances had dust on them, a few lamps had light bulbs that were out and not replaced and the worst would be that the hot tub listed in the property ad was gone. Our reservation was last minute but we were still not informed that it had been removed. The most annoying part was watching the new hot tub be delivered the day before we left, and not hooked up or able to be used. We would definitely stay in the area again but through a different property rental group that does a more recent or consistent check for cleanliness and accuracy of amenities at the property and the rental itself.

We had a great stay at this property. The only drawback was the drive up the mountain.

It was an excellent location and was close to everything we wanted to do. There were great views and we had everything we needed in the cabin. We ran into a few bears during our stay (a few snuck up on us so make sure you’re being alert) and we were able to admire them. It was relaxing to sit in the hot tub after a long day of adventures. Overall it was a great chalet and I wouldn’t defiently come back!

Loved the rain shower in the bathroom. The hot tub was very relaxing in the evenings. We had a Momma Bear and her cub visit our place one afternoon. The cub actually played in the trough up the steps from the grill. They then proceeded around the balcony to the steps leading down to the driveway! The family group has decided that a return trip to this rental is a must. We enjoyed AnaKeesta; pancakes at the Pancake Pantry; music at Moonshine Holler; and people watching!

This is a great property! It does need some updating. And somebody to go in with a wrench to tighten things up. Many of the electric outlets don’t work or connect to the light switch so you have no power in the room unless the switch is on. But after almost 20 years of visiting Gatlinburg in the summer this was the first time I had up close and personal bear encounters. One joined us at the hot tub and one actually got in my car. You’d never know it though! Not a scratch! It would probably be a good idea to warn people about the increased bear activity in the area. Thanks for the memories!

The refrigerator was very outdated and had a cord inside to hold items on the door. The coffeemaker wouldn’t make a full pot of coffee, without clogging up. The dressers in the bedrooms were not useable because the drawers wouldn’t open. The property needs updated and repaired.
