Crosslake, Minnesota
Tranquility and privacy abound in this 3BR log cabin on private park-like peninsula of Daggett Lake on the Whitefish Chain (14 lakes).
Each of the 3BR has a queen bed and lots of closet space. There is also a loft with two queen futons as well as a couple of reading chairs along with a small television up there. There are also two bathrooms (both have showers - there is no bathtub). The downstairs has a larger television with internet access as well as dvds.
The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dinnerware, spices and seasonings, and some staple items. It has a large stainless refrig, electric stove and oven, dishwasher, and microwave. There is also a gas grill outside for your use.
There are two private docks (pontoon available for a fee), a fire pit with generous seating, and lots of lawn for any games you and the kids want to play. This is truly a park-like setting! It is a 2.1 acre parcel with woods on either side for privacy and seclusion as well.
You will love the covered porch for both morning coffee, seeing deer walk along the waters edge, day time with the beautiful view of the lake, or evenings and the sunsets.
There is free wifi. There is a pontoon available for a fee (if desired). Or bring your own watercraft as there is a dock available.
Only one mile from town, you have access to a grocery store, golf ((both full size and mini-golf), restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream shops, retail shopping. The town square also has had bands playing music on Saturday evenings during the summer.
It is really a wonderful cabin in a quaint town.
Also available in the area are championship golf courses, Paul Bunyan Amusement Park, Brainerd International Raceway, antiquing, go karts, movie theater, bike trails, hiking, water slide, and great shopping. Northern Lights Casino is 45 miles north. Great snowmobiling in the winter.
You have the best of all worlds here - quiet when you want to relax, options when you don't.
Property was exactly as described. Great location and huge yard! We especially enjoyed the lake and the bonfire pit. Lots of room for everyone to sleep in the cabin! Public boat launch was a quick five minutes away. We would choose this property again!
My family rented here to celebrate my parents 65th wedding anniversary. The property is beautiful. Initial issues with internet/WiFi access was noted which was promptly addressed in a very satisfactory way. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with nearly anything you would need to prepare meals. I would stay here again!
Beautiful property. Lots of yard space for playing outdoor games. The pontoon was amazing. Quiet spot with lots of privacy. Would recommend. The only negative was no air conditioning but spent most of our time on the water
Came up for a wedding, nice property
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our relaxing Bachelorette up north! The firepit/grass area on the peninsula was beautiful and great for yard games. Kim was super communicative and helpful!
The cabin was perfect for our family. Having room to pitch a tent was great. All the beds were very comfortable, Even the loft futons Enjoyed the fire pit every night. Plenty of chairs so we didn’t have to drag them down there. We used the pontoon, and was so nice to have access right at the cabin No AC, but lots of fans. The only negative was the water, which was unusable, even to brush teeth. The owner is aware, and said she is working on solving the problem. Need to bring lots of water with for coffee, cooking, and drinking Our stay was great, and would definitely return
The layout of the cabin and location was great!
What a great cabin! Lots of sleeping spaces. Check in & check out were super easy. Had one issue and Kim got it taken care of super fast! Unfortunately the weather didn't give us enough opportunities to get out on the lake, but mini golf in Crosslake and the Safari zoo in Brainerd were super fun too!
We had a great stay at the Log Cabin. Very quiet area with great views and lots of nature. Our 7 year old had fun fishing off the dock. He found turtles, beavers, lots of birds, chipmunks...he stayed busy for hours. We highly recommend renting the pontoon--it worked great and it was nice to explore more of the area this way. There is no air conditioning, but the cabin stayed at a comfortable temp. WiFi worked great. Overall it was a great stay and Kim was great to work with!
The location was great. We attended the Crosslake St. Patty's day parade. The cabin needs some electrical work done. Also upon our arrival there was no toilet paper, but not told that was something we/I needed to provide.
