We had a great time staying on property. Chalet was never close by everything in downtown Gatlinburg. The roads to the chalet are very narrow since the chalet is located closer to the top of the mountain. For larger vehicles I would recommend staying further down the mountain. We had a difficult time in a Jeep compass turning into the driveway. The only issues that arised and was very disappointed with was the master bathroom. The water pressure was horrible and the jacuzzi bathtub didn't work. Unfortunately there wasn't enough hot water to even fill up the bathtub halfway. The second bathroom had much better water pressure and no issues with the hot water. Besides the master bathroom the property over all was fantastic. Great views and a nice indoor fireplace. The neighborhood was never quiet and so peaceful at night watching the stars.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A lovely spot, enjoyed the deck very much. The home is dated and musty but for a short stay it was bearable. The cost is ridiculously hight and the rental company but at all responsive to issues we had with plumbing. Other family members rented the home next door through a much better company who were very responsive to issues and even brought a good/wine gift.

The road up to the chalet was horrible at the very end. Perhaps a car could make the driveway turn but not a truck. Overall chalet was very nicely decorated and extremely clean. As soon as we arrived a bear greeted us which was pretty awesome. Getting to the cabin was very confusing as many streets do not have street signs. I enjoyed that it was located in a dead end, so there was more privacy. I do wish they would replace the once existing gate to the deck. Mountain Laurel Chalets never disappoint.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was a little disappointed to see how small the living space was, as the pictures online make it look very large. The sofa and loveseat are pretty broken in and worn down. The DVD player door was broken with no batteries for the remote. The master bath is very old and really needs updated. We all ended up using the other bathroom. Both shower areas are very tight making it difficult to move around. There were several soft spots in the wood flooring that we were afraid to step on. The welcome packet dates back to 2012 and is in pretty bad shape. It would have been nice if it was updated with current information. The outside could use a little updates and cleaning. It has a very nice kitchen and dining area with a lot of utensils. The villa is secluded with a nice front deck. It was very quiet which made it a good relaxing experience. It was an easy check in and check out experience with very nice office staff.

Perfect for my family. The cabin felt like home from the beginning. It had a private feel without being too secluded which made us feel safe. Great location too, close to town and entrance to GSM park. We also very easily made our way north to pigeon Forge without having to drive down the main drag through town. Wonderful view from front deck and hot tub. We loved the visits from the bears too.
