Beech Mountain Cabin Retreat

Wonderful location, great communication with the host. We enjoyed the house, watched deer, skiied at Beech mountain, and sat by the fireplace. Would book this again for our family trip.

The owner was incredibly nice and a great host. We saw some deer they come up to the cabin it made my kid’s vacation. The location is excellent right on the mountain. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Great host!

The cabin very cute, clean, and has all of the conveniences of a modern home while maintaining a rustic mountain feel. The surrounding area is beautifully maintained and the environment is tranquil. It was a short drive to the lifts ( less than 15 minutes). I would highly recommend staying here if you are going skiing or mountain biking at Beech Mountain, or if you just want a quiet place to relax in the mountains.

Very nice and comfortable. My only suggestion would be that it would be nice to have a few staples in the kitchen and bath. Bring your own dish cloths, hand towels, dish soap(like Dawn) things like foil or cling wrap. Plenty of tools for cooking were there. We spent most of our time in the cabin sense our granddaughter was sick the whole time so cozied up by the fire. Only other suggestion if you want a nice fire to have all day bring your own wood or you can buy some from property.

The place was very nice. Plenty of beds the 2 master bedroom are nice to have one on first floor. Would stay again.

Overall our stay was great!! Would rent the cabin again!! The only thing was the cabin was definitely not cleaned prior to this stay and there was a cleaning fee so I’m not sure what the fee is for if it’s not getting cleaned. The shower did start leaking into the kitchen but the only was very responsive in getting someone to fix it. However after they came the leak was still happening. The deer were so fun and exciting for the kids to see! The location was perfect! And the cabin itself was perfect! Had everything we needed!

Such a lovely house. It’s right off the main road and ten minutes from Beech Mountain Ski Resort. Everything is as described and the owners provided such nice little extras, including sleds! We will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough nice things about the cabin or the owners! While we didn't do much on the mountain, we had a really wonderful stay! I was grateful for the sleds and firewood provided for our use! The cabin was exceptionally clean and just simply beautiful! You had all the basic necessities to have a comfortable winter stay! I would suggest bringing food because town is about an hour away. The best part is that the owners are quickly responsive of any issues you may have. Thank you Martin and Petra for being so nice and allowing us to stay at your place! We hope to visit again!
