Beautifully Furnished Log Home on Secluded Shetland Creek

Beautiful home and property ! So much space. Worked great for our family weekend !

Great cabin! Bright, clean, and well furnished. We’d definitely return.

The cabin is beautiful with plenty of towels and everything in the kitchen you could need. This was our second visit and will probably stay again in the future.

The house was perfect for our family. The kids enjoyed playing the board games in the evenings.

The cabin is located in a beautiful setting, and is very homey and charming. The location is minutes away from Leland, and near other amazing sights in NW Michigan.The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook.We would definitely stay here again!

This was our 3rd time renting the Cabin on the Creek and we had a great time. Very clean as usual, and they had everything we needed. Nice secluded location, but close to T C, wineries, Leland, and more. Hope to be back again next year.

Cabin has many amenities in a beautiful setting with great 2 large porches for viewing creek and forest. Enjoyed bird watching on them. Love the decorations which celebrate all Michigan has to offer.

Cabin on the Creek exceeded expectations. It was clean, cozy, comfortable and cheery! Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked with all the supplies and utensils we needed. Added bonus was a working (gas) fireplace that was welcome on the cold days. We enjoyed the view of the woods and creek; and the seclusion.

Cabin is adorable. Very clean. However, the water smelled strongly of sulfer and was brown when we ran the faucets initially. I’ve had properties with wells before and never experienced this. We would love to come back when the weather is better!

This was our second visit to this beautiful cabin on the creek. Every day we walked our dogs and enjiyed the woods and nature. The house is about half a mile in down a lane. It is not scary remote, the owners house is near as are other houses but just out of sight so you have complete privacy. The cabin has an open floor plan perfect for large groups. W Itsscaremote.

We were there at a perfect time at peak color and with beautiful weather. The location is very private and right by a beautiful creek. We spent lots of time on the porches enjoying the view and the water sounds. Inside was great with bathroom on each of the 3 floors and bedroom or two on each. This was really nice for us to be able to spread out as we wanted. House is well-equipped and very clean. We plan to come back!

Very nice and clean property.....it is definitely in a secluded area. Did not have time to enjoy the outdoor fire-pit area but very nice view!

The property was exactly what we needed for our golf outing down the road at Manitou Passage. Private, quiet, and a lot of space.

Everything you need/want in a vacation home! We love staying at the cabin on the creek and will definitely be back again. The home has everything you need, is in a beautiful, secluded setting, and close access to some of the best Lake Michigan beaches. Added plus that it is dog friendly in every way! Our only tip is to bring a mattress topper if you aren’t a fan of hard (like rock hard) mattresses haha. Other than that—10/10!

We always go away for my father’s birthday and this cabin was perfect! Location was amazing for the hikes and activities we wanted to do ?

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen was the most complete of any place I have rented. I could not have asked for more. We had 8 people stay here very comfortably. The fire pit area was perfect and the creek running near the house added an incredibly relaxing vibe any time that you sat on the porches.

Definitely a place to get away from it all with a peaceful stream out back and 2 balconies to have your morning coffee and listen to nature before your day starts.

Stay #4 for our family at this little piece of secluded heaven. We love the peace and quiet of the property. It’s amazing!

We have enjoyed every year we stay at this place….excellent location for all we enjoy doing! The home is perfectly equipped for cooking and enjoying. The only downside that we have noticed through the years, as we get older and the cabin gets older, are the beds and the main floor toilet. The beds are getting saggy and the main toilet would be nice as a high rise elongated…..not convenient for a handicapped individual.
