Stayed Feb 16, 2026We happened to stay here during a severe snow storm, and the cabin lost power. We called/texted the owner, but there was no response, so after a few hours, we called VRBO who assisted in providing us with a refund. The owner eventually did call us back, and was friendly and offered to walk us through setting up a generator to the cabin to supply electricity, but we opted to leave since the storm was forecast to worsen.The cabin itself was lovely, with a very well stocked kitchen. The bathrooms are updated and we enjoyed using the wood burning stove. A friendly neighbor was helpful in giving us guidance on the storm, which we appreciated. We would stay here again.

Stayed Jul 26, 2024We had a lovely time at this cabin. We were able to visit Lake Spaulding, Lake Reservoir and dutch flat community pool during our stay. The downstairs addition was very open and worked well for the kids. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jul 17, 2024The area was beautiful lots of trees and fresh air. The tv’s did not work even with help from owner. The master bedroom was the only room with an air conditioner. There were only 4 outdoor chairs and 2 of them were under a tarp and had to be cleaned off with a towel ( no hose). The key pad would not lock at the front door and there was no key. Kitchen was well equipped and had lots of condiments. Maybe in the fall it would have been more comfortable but with the house not having any airconditioning it was pretty hot.

Stayed Sep 15, 2023Hosts went out of their stay to make our stay enjoyable and we’re very responsive. While the cabin is modest, the location is just down the road from the Dutch Flat hotel which is why we booked it since we were attending a wedding there.
