This cabin was the perfect place to visit Mt Rainier NP and other locations. It was very comfortable and we even saw the only large mammal wildlife (elk) on the property.
Spent 10 days at this property. Great location, very comfortable accommodations. This is close enough to Packwood for convenience, but far enough away you are away from the world. The place had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here next time I am in the area.
We stopped for a couple of nights to enjoy Mt. Rainer National park. The cabin is in a great location for Packwood and Mt Rainer. It is clean and had all the amenities we could need.
Convenient and affordable for Mt Rainier proximity. Nothing fancy but a clean and quiet place and everything in good working order.
This was a great property to stay in. Easy to find, quiet area and fully fitted to supply you with everything you needed to relax and get ready for exploring Mount Rainier. Hot tub was a welcome addition after long hot walks There was a choice of 2 beds but did find both quite soft and not totally comfortable but the wife was fine with both. Owners were kind enough to let us check in early as wanted a change of clothes. Packwood itself has a large supermarket and choices to eat and you can always use the property kitchen to prepare your own meals which we did a couple of times. With Stephen Canyon road closed it did make the journey to Mount Rainier longer and although a straightforward route it does take awhile because of the many twists and turns. Overall pleased with my choice of area and property.
It is just as advertised. Nice cabin with all the amenities we liked. We were there during the Packman flea market holiday weekend. Although we are not flea market people, it looked like it is very popular!
We have stayed at Fred and Marilly’s Hall Creek Cabin as well as Baby Bear’s Den. First, the location is great We primarily stay to ski at White Pass. The cabins are close to Hwy 12 but not too close, we haven’t had any issue with road noise. Depending on conditions it seems like the ski area is about 20-25 minutes away. The grocery store and other stuff in Packwood is also only a couple of minutes away. The cabins are clean and well furnished, and we enjoy the hot tub. There has been a coffee maker with filters, which is something I really appreciate. Something we especially appreciate about these cabins is that they are pet-free. My son is allergic to dogs and cats and we can really tell the difference when we stay at a pet-free rental. If you do rent here, which you should, please, keep the cabins pet-free. The Hall Creek cabin has two beds and was perfect for me and my son. Baby bear’s den is a bit bigger and fancier and would be more appropriate for a bigger group.
We stayed here for a ski weekend. Very clean and good proximity to White Pass. I couldn’t find trash bags, but luckily we had some grocery bags to use. Overall perfect for what we needed.
What fantastic place to stay if skiing at White Pass.
Cozy, warm and relaxing. Would definitely recommend it or look to stay again. Had everything we needed for an amazing weekend!
The host is a good person-very easy to work with and communicative. You can tell he cares about your stay and the rentals he owns. We would stay again.
Great little cabin with hot tub to soak away the post skiing soreness. Love Packwood. Cruzers Pizza is awesome as is the Packwood Brewery. Owners super friendly and helpful too!
Some friends and I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights to board all weekend at the mountain. The place was very cute and clean, great location for going to White Pass as well and close to stores. It was very peaceful and the hot tub was great for soaking in and star gazing after a day on the mountain.
The property was warm.and inviting like grandma's hug. We will definitely book property again. The owners were nice and made sure we were comfortable.
Beautiful location and great hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again!
Exactly as advertised. Easy to find, centrally located, very clean and well stocked. Appreciated the washer and dryer!
The house was very clean and the check in process was easy. I know that some reviewers have complained that there were too many rules, but to me, they were all easy to follow and made sense as the house was clearly quite cared for. The only downside was we could have used an extra fan as there was a heat wave in Packwood and the portable AC had trouble keeping up.
Had an issue with the cabin upon arrival, but the owner was quick to resolve it. Other than that, our stay was perfect! Cozy little cabin tucked down a dirt road, with all the amenities needed. We had a great time here in Packwood, thank you for renting to us!
