Cody, Wyoming
This one of a kind Historical Cabin is a great location for families, or a romantic get away for two. Wake up in the morning to the breath taking views of Jim Mountain. The cabin is located 28 miles from the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, and 22 miles from the small western town of Cody. While visiting the area you may want to go white water rafting, fishing, hunting, cross country snow skiing, ride snow mobiles, hike, visit Buffalo Bills Museum, Cody Stampede Rodeo (nightly June through Early September), Yellowstone NP (open April-October), and much, much more. Enjoy a night by the creekside fire pit, roasting marshmallows. Come make memories to last a life time.
Also available is a creekside cabin with a large deck overlooking a small water fall. This cabin will accommodate 1-2 people for $110 per night.
A perfect setting for a visit to Yellowstone and Cody. Very authentic and comfortable. Denise was a wonderful owner host for our stay. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the Yellowstone Cody area…..
The property and the owners are amazing! The property is beautiful and the view is wonderful. The cabin was equipped with everything you need and more. It is cozy and well decorated with Wyoming décor. It was a beautiful drive to Cody and to Yellowstone. I would love to stay there again!
Property was very clean and an excellent home base for our Yellowstone trip. The rustic decor of the cabin made it feel like a home away from home. The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need. Located in a secluded area but a good home base between the east side and Cody.
We were so pleased with the choice of this property. It was everything we hoped for and more. The view is amazing, and you can hear the nearby creek and birds. The cabin was gorgeous with so many special decorations that made it seem more like a home than a rental. It was very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. I would highly recommend this cabin to experience the best of the outdoors in an authentic and lovely cabin.
Amazing location & scenery, quiet & peaceful. Cabin is wonderful with great decor and amenities. Fully stocked and convenient!
Owner Denise is a gracious and responsive host who made 5 retired anglers from WI feel welcome in her cozy cowboy lodge. Beautiful place! We would come again!
This Property had several details of beauty ? It was truly the getaway we needed. We will definitely return!!! Thank you Denise
Denise and Steve thought of everything. The bed was comfy, the kitchen well stocked, and we loved sitting on the patio in the evening. There are kids games and a lot of interesting books. Yellowstone entrance was only about 25-30 mins away and the cabin served as a good home base!
Very comfortable place, beautiful location! A little surprised by the closeness of the other buildings on site, pictures made it look more remote. LOVED our stay here. We had everything we needed to enjoy family cookouts, visiting Yellowstone park, going to Cody Rodeo, and a few hours resting on the back patio.
Wapiti crossing was just the spot for us - quiet, calm, secluded, and close enough to yellowstone east entrance without the crowds. Thanks all for having us!
Family of 4 truly enjoyed this cabin and it’s location sat perfectly between Yellowstone and Cody. Caution- loft stairs are not for the week of knee but perfectly acceptable for my 9 and 11 year olds. Driveway was a little tight for a full sized truck but we 100 made it work and would rent here again in a heart beat.
We were so happy to stay at This cabin everything was terrific we would Definitely come back.
Memories to last a lifetime. The cabin, property, and the owners were amazing. If you want to stay near Cody and Yellowstone NP, I wouldn’t look anywhere else. Denise is absolutely fabulous and our daughters loved their cozy cabin! We will be back when our girls are older.
The location was perfect for our trips into Cody and another loop into Yellowstone. Host provide us a few local places to eat that were good but breakfast at Granny’s was the best. Highly recommend this cabin and location
Halfway between cody and east gate of Yellowstone
Beautifully furnished cabin high in the hills. We loved everthing about our stay!!! Hope to go back next fall!!!
Spent three days here. It was awesome. Owners house is close but never saw or heard them except for the quick tour of the amenities when we arrived (how to use the heaters, wood-burning fireplace, appliances, etc.). It was just my wife and I. Plenty of room. Would be awesome for a family with kids as the loft is super cool. Would definitely stay again.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Historic Cabin in Wapiti. It is spacious, comfortable, clean, nicely appointed, and quiet. The owners take great care. We were very comfortable. It is an easy drive to the Yellowstone Park east entrance with beautiful scenery along the way. And of course Yellowstone itself is fabulous. We definitely would stay here again.
Had a great time ! Very helpful. Was very impressed with attention to detail in the cabin. A lot like our home, so we felt at home. Thanks ! Have already recommended to other family that might be coming to the area..
The cabin was very nice and even without air conditioning it was always comfortable in the cabin. The Wi-Fi went out on or 2nd day of our stay and I contacted the property owner and she had it back on. It went out again at the end of our stay and I didn’t contact the owner. The only real downside is the bed was way too soft and over a 9 day stay neither one of us got more than 3 hours sleep at a time. Overall it’s a great cabin in a nice location. Close to both Cody and Yellowstone.
This cabin was a cozy little place nestled perfectly amoung the mountains. Close enough to Cody and Yellowstone! We loved waking up in the mornings to see Him Mountain from our pillows laying in bed! The deck was the best place to unwind!
Good location for traveling to Yellowstone.
The owner is amazing! We arrived a couple of weeks after the Yellowstone flood and not being from the area we had no idea what to expect. She was beyond helpful and kind to us. The cabin is perfect! Quaint, clean, views are amazing. The little creek on the property was my husbands favorite. I wasn’t sure he was ever going to leave. The beds upstairs were perfect for my preteens but the stairs were a little steep for me. They didn’t mind though. We would definitely stay here again!
Nice cabin between Cody and Yellowstone.
We loved staying at this property. Gorgeous views, easy to get to both Yellowstone NP and downtown Cody. The owners were extremely gracious. The cabin was cozy, in the best sense; it also easily fit our family of five. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies to make meals there if wanted or necessary. We would highly recommend it and hope to stay again.
Great location and amazing cabin. Owners were very helpful and worked with us when our vacation was impacted by the flooding at Yellowstone. We loved the view and yard for the kids to play. We would definitely stay there again!
Great stay, wonderful views, friendly host, would recommend to everyone.
Authentic, well-appointed cabin. Polite and helpful owners. Great fireplace with lots of wood. Nice stay.
