The space
Luxury A-frame cabin for year round fun! 35 minutes from skiing in White Pass, 30-40 minutes from Mount Rainier and Mount Saint Helen National Parks, and 2 minute walk right from the backyard to amazing fishing on the Cowlitz river or a refreshing dip; this cabin has it all. With 2 full standard bedrooms, a large sleeping loft, and a game and entertainment room, this cabin can sleep up to 11 people. The master bedroom has a king bed, there is a queen in the other bedroom, and then a queen and 2 twins in the loft with an extra twin if needed, which is sectioned off for sound and more privacy. There is a queen futon and sofa bed in the rec room, both have foam toppers you can add. (Please note - there are not 4 separate bedrooms, but two bedrooms, a separated loft, 2 complete bathrooms, and rec room with a tv and 2 queen size sleeping options!) The beautiful deck off of the kitchen comes with a gas BBQ and plenty of outdoor patio seating, complete with night time twinkle lights. A new seven person hot tub has been recently added to the property, and we also have a hammock, swing and zipline in the back yard. The mudroom on the bottom floor has plenty of space to store your ski or hiking gear. The rec room on the bottom floor has a 50 4K TV with good speakers, a foosball table and a mini fridge to keep your drinks cold. There is also an extra fridge in the garage area. The cabin sits steps away from the the river front, for excellent fishing and hiking by the Cowlitz river.

The open space living room comes equipped with a cast iron wood burning stove, a brand new Italian leather sectional couch, a 32 flat screen TV with BOSE surround sound, a dvd player (with a fully stocked film collection), HD Smart TV, and a table with seating for up to 10 people. From the living room you can gaze out of the floor to ceiling windows that encompass a whole side of the A-Frame to admire the beautiful forest and river beyond. The cabin comes all ready with plenty of wood for the fireplace, already chopped and ready to be burned. The kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans, spices, coffee and latte bar, and kitchen utensils.

The cabin has been recently outfitted with a high efficiency 80 gallons hot water heater so you can have plenty of hot showers after a long day on the slopes. The cabin also comes with air conditioning for those hot summer days.
Summer renters can also access the community's swimming pool and 9 holes golf course for a small fee ($10pp swimming pool and $40pp to play golf for the day as many times as you like, to be paid at the club house, approximately 1.5 miles from the cabin).

*** I am including this year because we receive numerous requests to use this cabin as a wedding venue for small weddings and elopement. We are able to offer the cabin for those types of small events, but there is a surcharge.

Also related, your host Amaris Harris is also owner of Amaris Kristina Photography which you are welcome to look up on Facebook or Instagram. She is highly knowledgeable and familiar with the surrounding area, so if folks are interested, she can be separately hired as a wedding photographer or can be available for family sessions in the mountains if arranged in advance.

Hot tub could have been a little hotter. We appreciated the nice bathrooms and well stocked kitchen for cooking. The garage was great for storing all our ski gear. The set up for the house was very nice.

Beautiful property on the river. Not too far from Mount Rainier. Only issue was WiFi kept dropping.

Overall, this was a nice location with lots of included amenities. It was 10 minutes from town and the space was well maintained. There were a few minor items but nothing significant. Proximity to the river was nice. Beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

The cabin had everything we needed! Large bowls for pasta salad, a sheet pan for baking cookies, frying pans for breakfast and all the grill utensils. Plenty of towels which is always so nice and wonderful markers for rock painting we decided we needed to pick up some of our own!

This cabin was beautiful! We had a wonderful time. The only issue I found was the disges were questionable. It almost seemed like maybe a guest prior had accidentally put away their dirty dishes.. No matter I just made sure to hand wash anything we planned to use before and after. Each meal. The rooms were amazing, we werent expecting neighbors so close but our group had a great time, played foosball and watched movies spent a bit of time enjoying and relaxing in the hot tub. I would recommend 8/10. If it wasnt for the lack of confidence in the dishes I would have rated higher.. However I spent a good portion of my stay washing dishes wishing i would have broughten disposable.. lol

Quaint cottage on river close to Mt Rainier National Park. 6 adults stayed and it was perfect for our needs. Even better if you have kids! Every amenity was thought of! Owners gracious and genuine.
