Our 15th year staying at this cozy cabin! It just gets better and better!!!!
Great place for hiking in Maine and New Hampshire.
Warm, clean, comfortable cabin in a wooded setting. This was our 13 th year and we hope to return soon.
We would love to thank Bob and Emily for a lovely stay at their home. There was plenty of room for us and four teenagers, plus a dog! The house was extremely clean and their responsiveness and communication with us was top notch! The house is close to downtown Bethel, as well as, not too far a drive from Frenchman’s Hole which was a popular destination this weekend for the kids! Thank you again!
Our stay was pleasant overall. The accommodations were very comfortable and pleasant in looks and arrangement. The kitchen enabled us readily for the meals taken on site and your appliances worked well. Lighting could be improved...brighter wattage for the bathrooms and nite lites in working order. The wi-fi was challenged by weather and our cell phones could not receive dial out networks, but we were downtown, out and about so it wasn't a big deal. While the weather was not condusive to some of our outdoor play, we did hike, mountain bike, and explore the land the cabin sits upon. Obviously, no one has control of the weather so we took advantage of the scrabble game and cards, as well as a few movies. our visit as peaceful, restful and enjoyed by the four of us. Thank you for opening your cabin to us. Best Regards
The cabin is so updated and cute! The beds are very comfortable and we loved sitting on the front porch. It is close to great hiking (Sunday River and Grafton Notch State Park) and near good restaurants.
Very private location yet a short drive to all the areas activities
Really, this wonderful log home is great for any vacation. Beautiful kitchen with all new appliances, comfy beds, plenty of space for family to hang out or for game night. A short drive to Sunday River or Mt. Abram for great skiing! Owners are super responsive, friendly and easy to work with, though we had no problems at all, as everything is well labeled and communicated. You'll love it!
We loved the cabin. It was peaceful, comfortable, and convenient to Bethel village and Sunday River. We will return.
Great location. Cozy cabin with comfortable beds and fireplace. Well stocked though kitchen could use a baking pan and cookie sheet. Plow man was excellent about driveway and road during and after getting 2 snow storms in 3 days
The cabin worked out great for a family of six, was clean and well organized, and it was great to sit by the fire on a cold winter night. Beds were comfy and we enjoyed relaxing at the cabin each day after skiing at Sunday river
This home is delightful and the host was incredibly communicative. Highly recommend!
Cabin is adorable and in a lovely wooded spot very close to Sunday River. Bob was awesome w/communication and we look forward to staying again!
Our favorite family get away!! Thank you Bob and Emily!!!!
We had a great stay at the cabin for a long weekend ski trip. The property was very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished and it was perfect for 2 families with children. The location is convenient to Sunday River. The communication with Bob was on point, he sent us directions and information ahead of our arrival. Thank you!
Excellent cabin in any season. Easy access to Sunday River (downhill skiing), Carter's and Bethrl Inn (xcountry skiing, snow shoeing), and hiking (Bethel trails). Also, excellent customer service by owner Robert.
Real Log Style Cabin in private woods. Large fireplace, cathedral ceilings, large kitchen and dining area, private yard. Very cozy cabin near downtown Bethel. Log style interior with modern kitchen and bathrooms. We will definitely come back.
Beautiful, quiet neighborhood….very private yet close to a lovely town. Great location for day trips. Cabin was very nice. Great front porch to enjoy our coffee and fire pit in back for our evenings. Would stay again!
My husband and I enjoyed the cabin and definitely we will be going back again. Very rustic as a cabin should be! The cabin is very clean and well kept. You can do as much as you want or relax sitting on the porch. We went hiking a couple times nearby. We also went on the Kancamagus Highway and hiked Diana’s Bath. I definitely would recommend this cabin for a relaxing getaway.
This is a terrific cabin and location if you want to see beautiful landscape, swim in mountain lakes, fish, kayak, bird watch and hike. We had one very hot day but the rest of our time, the weather was gorgeous! Definitely would re-visit the area and return. Just note there is no a/c in this cabin. The Barners
We had a wonderful time in this lovely house. The property was just as described, very clean and included lots of additional bits and pieces which made it a very special stay. Access was via an unmade road, but this just added to the sense of the place. Whilst we were there we went canoeing locally and white water rafting up in Errol, nearby. We also played in waterfalls and rode the ski lift at Sunday River, followed by a walk in the hills. We saw moose on the roadside and eagles whilst canoeing, along with squirrels and chipmunks whilst we had breakfast at the house. All in all a wonderful stay and we would heartily recommend staying here to any other visitor.
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The neighborhood was quiet and close to town. We enjoyed river tubing and takeout from Sunday River Brewing. The cabin was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we loved the many colors of the dishes and dining furniture. Would definitely return in the future, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
