Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin
Enjoy the northwoods with your closest friends and family in a newly remodeled log cabin on the shores of the 4000 acre Manitowish Chain of Lakes.
Aberdeen Resort was created in 1997 with the northwoods in mind. Situated on 36 acres, the property boasts a full service northwoods restaurant and bar. You will experience privacy, seclusion and wildlife (as we have seen deer(albino), eagles, bears, otters, loons, and various other northwoods critters.
Our Cabin is situated between Alder lake and Manitowish Lake on the water. We have 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Our cabin is cozy and inviting, welcoming conversation amongst friends. Directly across the driveway is a playground situated in the shadows of towering pines. The restaurant is a short 2 minute walk from our front door. We have a firepit next to our cabin and along the beach is another. Many evenings you will find guests sitting by the campfire listening to the sounds of nature and gazing at the uncountable stars.
You can enjoy world class musky fishing as the chain is Class A muskie waters. Smallmouth bass fishing is spectacular, largemouth, northern, panfish, and walleye are all common. Personal record is 44' muskie, 23' smallmouth, and 18' walleye.
Your day can be filled going fishing, water-skiing, boating, hiking, biking, visiting one of the many lakeside restaurants. At night, relaxing at the Lodge while the kids play in the game room watching movies and playing with toys. For winter activities, we are located a couple of hundreds yards off a main snowmobile trail. Cross country skiing is out the front door and downhill skiing is 40 minutes away in the U.P. Michigan.
Our property is geared toward families, as kids will find the playground, beach, fishing off the dock, and exploring memorable and never boring. Families are often found making new friends that they see year after year.

We had a great family trip as we always do in the Northwoods. This cabin provided everything that we needed and was a relaxing stay. Hope to see this place again.
Very clean. Great response from landlord on a few issues. Served our family of 6 well
The place was just as expected. The table was a little sticky, but we got a table class for that. The location was fantastic. Loved having a little beach nearby and other rental families to talk to. Did wish we had access to the water for our kayaks. There was a little path, but it was hard with a 10-year-old to get through. Overall will definitely be back.
What a beautiful Northwoods Cabin. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our vacation. We loved the quiet location, close to the water, with access to docks for fishing and mooring our boat. We will definitely be returning for another vacation!
Cute 4 bedroom getaway tucked in the beautiful Northwoods! Close to restaurants, hiking, biking trails. Lots to do in this awesome area!
Pretty log cabin near Aberdeen Lodge. Good for a small group or family.
We enjoyed local attractions by the property. Cabin was nice and clean. We had 8 adults and as the property says, that is the max allowed and space wise you would not want more than that. We had one on the top bunk, which is a bit challenging to get up to depending on your age and flexibility. Loved having 2 bathrooms and the yeti is treat to look have out the window. :) We did not make it to the lodge to eat dinner, but friends did last time they were in the area and said it was very good. We would come again. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin.
The property was great. It is spaced out nicely from other cabins and very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful log cabin home! The dock was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!
The cabin was very clean , and set up well. Loved the decor and the secluded feel of the cabin. The Manitowish Chain of Lakes was fantastic. I also recommend The Aberdeen Lodge, food and drinks were great
This property worked very well for our family of five.
Awesome property on the Manitowish chain. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 kiddos. Spent a lot of time on the water.
We enjoyed our time at Scott's cabin - great location for time exploring in Manitowish Waters. We rented a pontoon from Greer's Pier for a day, biked the trails up in Manitowish Waters, and did a canoe trip with River's Edge Outfitters. Dinner at Aberdeen Lodge was amazing. Some advice? Pack your bug spray, and I would suggest a broom or small vacuum. It is easy to track the Northwoods into your cabin :).
