Beautiful and Serene getaway - trail ride or hike directly into Big South Fork!

The cabin was very welcoming and private. It was week appointed with everything you would need. The inside was very clean, however we were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the hot tub. We took out the filter to clean it before using hot tub and it was very dirty. Luckily we found a new filter there. The chemicals were not where they should be so we had to purchase chlorine for the hot tub before using it. Once we cleaned it and got the chemicals where it should be we enjoyed using it. It was beautiful looking at the stars in the sky and enjoying soaking.

We had a great stay here. Very peaceful location. The wrap around deck and hut tub were relaxing and much enjoyed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. Great location to all the nearby hiking. Our host was very helpful and attentive.

The place was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The host was very responsive to several emails. I sent requesting some information regarding our stay. We were provided helpful information about navigating the national park, popular hikes, just wonderful hospitality.

Extremely well stocked kitchen, great hot tub, and very private area. A very enjoyable stay!

Cabin was clean private had everything we needed even fire woods and chairs, hot was clean and hot, kitchen had everything you would need to cook or bake with. Great place!

This was our 6th visit and we absolute LOVE this cabin. It's clean, big hot tub on deck with great views, pet friendly - which we really love - comfortable and nice layout. Has all the kitchen amenities you need, wonderful wrap around porch, located at end of cul de sac so great privacy, fire pit and fire wood which we used every morning, etc., etc., etc.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s located in a very wooded, secluded spot several miles outside of Jamestown. The kitchen definitely had anything you need to cook or grill. All toiletries, paper and cleaning supplies were provided. The hot tub was very relaxing. We would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get out in nature. Thank you for sharing it with us!

The property is beautiful. It's dark at night. You can see all the stars. It's quiet. It's everything you need it to be to relax. We had a wonderful time. This is our second stay and we loved it as much this time as last time.

Had a wonderful stay at this Cabin, very peaceful and they had everything we needed there. We went horseback riding and hiking at the scenic Parks nearby.Enjoyed relaxing on the beautiful wraparound porch when we got back.

The property is at the end of the road, so there is a lot of privacy. It was quiet and lots of nature around to explore. I would recomend something for motion sickness as the roads are very curvy. All in all, my family enjoyed their stay.

The cabin was clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. It accommodated myself, my husband, and two other couples easily. It was within short driving distance to beautiful trails, and a ten minute drive to the astronomy field! Highly recommend this property, already daydreaming about staying there again in the future!

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Wish we owned horses, perfect place for them. But we came for the hiking. Close to many trails in all 3 recreation areas. Owners were very responsive and quick to answer questions.

We loved the house and location. The house is at the end of a dead end street and was surrounded by the woods. Very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed this cabin and found that we had everything that we needed! We came to Big South Fork to hike and wanted a cozy place to get away from everything, and this cabin filled that bill. The cabin is nicely fitted, with comfortable beds, sheets, towels and all of the kitchen items that you need. We cooked all of our meals and had what we needed - appreciated their spices and tupperware containers. The shower is fantastic, and we really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and seeing the gorgeous stars! We didn't realize it was a certified dark sky site until the day we were arriving, but we loved the night sky! We also enjoyed morning walks in the woods around the cabin, walking on the road and seeing the horses, and several of the hikes in the park - Twin Arches, Slave Falls and Angel Falls. The land is beautiful and none of the hikes were crowded. Check in and check out were easy. I would recommend driving to the cabin during daylight on your arrival day if you can - the winding roads in the dark are a little unnerving when you don't know where you are going. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet getaway and some time outdooors!

We absolutely love this property and have been coming back for 5 years now. Perfect size, dog friendly, great beds, great TVs, great firepit, great location. Kitchen has more cookware and spices than any other place we have every stayed. Could use a potato peeler and a new set of cookie sheets, but otherwise, supplies are great. Because house sits at the end of a cul de sac, there is a lot of private outdoor area and our dogs just love it. Firewood is stacked high and protected to keep it dry. Owners are responsive and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This cabin really lived up to all our expectations and then some! It was so easy to find and its proximity to Big South Fork and Pickett State Park made it super convenient. The cabin was super clean and cozy, was in great condition, and had all amenities listed. We were especially impressed with how well appointed the kitchen was with equipment, utensils, and supplies. We would highly recommend this cabin for your next trip!

Very nice home - comforter & well appointed. Very fast WiFi (which is good cause cell service in the area is very sparse). Located convenient to parks, hiking trails & astronomy viewing field. Plan to book again!

We didn't get to use the property to its full potential as we were in town for an event and really utilized it for sleep and a shower. But it is a beautiful place and we will definitely stay again if we are back for this event. If you are a horse lover or hiking enthusiast, this is your place!

This was the perfect cabin for our short get-a-way. We picked it because it checked all our boxes; close to Big South Fork, dog friendly and hot tub. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property and well-appointed kitchen. We also loved playing board games on the large wrap-around porch. The host was exceptionally communicative and we appreciate them sharing their wonderful cabin with us.
