Great location with stunning views. Owners weee really great. We’d stay here again.
Great cabin with great view.
We will be back! What a great little hidden gem with an amazing view and wildlife to enjoy! The host is fantastic I couldn’t be happier with our stay!
Pictures don’t do it justice- beautiful spot just outside of Soldotna- quiet and peaceful - Elaina and Ted are responsive, helpful and kind- loved our stay
Perfect beautiful location with everything we needed for our stay! Safe and quiet we never locked the doors!
We wanted quiet and we got it. Perfect cabin for our stay. We got to watch momma and baby moose swim the lake as well as watch another female eat the vegetation in the front of the cabin. The property was central to all our activities. West fron Homer for a fishing trip to the east in Coopers Landing where we enjoyed a River float down Kenai and farther east at Prince William Sound to see the glaciers. Thank you Elaina and Ted
Great place to stay on the Kenai, perfectly located between the Kenai/Kasilof Rivers for fishing, wildlife viewing etc. Elaina and Ted were both very nice and accommodating hosts. Would stay here again on future trips!
My husband and I were very comfortable in the cabin. We had everything we needed and the separate sunroom gave us plenty of space to stretch out and read a good book or watch a movie. We saw a Moose cow and her two calfs right on the property! Our hosts Elaina and Ted could not have been more gracious and helpful and also gave us our privacy. Great place to unwind and also close to Kenai National Wildlife Preserve with hiking paths and lots of Moose! Highly recommend. Thank you Elaina and Ted!
Well, you never know what you’re going to get when you rent a property 3000 miles away. This little cabin did NOT disappoint. It was five stars all around. From the owners who make you feel right at home. To the view of the lake and the mountains out your back door. To the cozy and clean cabin and its detached family room. Everything was just perfect. I would definitely go there again. And I would highly recommend it to others. Thanks for a great week!
Elaina was fantastic during our stay. She was quick to respond to any questions we had of the area and offered suggestions of places to go. The house was in a great location with scenic views that never got old, and we even saw a moose! It was very clean and well stocked. I would definitely come back if in the Soldotna area.
Cabin was clean, neat and stocked with everything we needed! We definitely felt at home here and will be recommending this place to anyone interested in traveling to the Kenai Peninsula area!
Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing. Elaina met us and went over everything and had helpful tips for the area. Everything was clean and inviting. Wood was provided for the outdoor fire. We felt right at home our entire stay. 3 nights were definitely NOT enough! We will be staying here again but for a few more days!
Wonderful hosts made us feel so welcome and at home. The cabin is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Views of the lake and mountains are unbelievably beautiful. The pictures I took look like postcards. I would love to come back!
This was the perfect place for a relaxing, stressless few days. We REALLY enjoyed the quiet setting on the lake around the clock. The location was perfect for our daily ventures to Kenia, Homer and Seward. More than we ever imagined.
My brother and I enjoyed our stay while we visited the Kenai area. Elaina was a great host and the cabin is as advertised. We really enjoyed the view each morning of the lake and wildlife. Everything was great, I can highly recommend, we will be back again.
The cabin is so quaint and the views are beautiful! Elaina was great at communicating with us leading up to and during our stay. Her and her husband had great tips for the area and how to manage packing up all the fish we caught during our stay. Amenities were also great for the cabin - including a chest freezer to keep our fish, washer/dryer, great shower, and comfy bed! Location of the cabin is central on the Kenai peninsula so allows you to explore a lot. Highly recommend this cabin to those who want to get the full Alaska experience!
We came to the Kenai area for fishing. The place was amazing -- comfortable, well-supplied, great views. The hosts made sure we were set up well, and were always available if we needed (which we didn't). 5 star in every way.
This was our first trip to Alaska! The cabin was perfect for myself, husband and father-in-law. From the second we pulled into the driveway, Elaina and Ted were amazing. They gave us a tour of the cabin. It had everything we needed and then some extras. We went halibut and salmon fishing and there was a cooler and a freezer for us to use! They told us where to get the fish processed and showed us how to package it for our flight home. I can’t express in words how delightful and helpful they were. They are excellent hosts, if you have any questions or need recommendations they will point you in the right direction. The location was perfect, a beautiful view of the lake and it’s in between Seward and Homer. On our drive to Homer in the morning we saw 12 Moose and the drive to Seward is filled with amazing views! The cabin is close to town but far enough away that you feel you are in your own little Alaskan paradise! You even have two loons that come to the lake every afternoon. It is absolutely peaceful here. I highly recommend staying at this amazing Alaskan cabin!
Loved our stay here. The setting on the small lake is gorgeous, sunsets are amazing and it is very quiet and peaceful. It seems very secluded yet is close to to town. We saw lots of moose, eagles, and the two loons that live on the lake. The TV room adjacent to the cabin is cozy and comfy. The owners live on site but are not intrusive at all. We saw very little of them but they were prompt to respond to any needs we had.
