Bearstone Cabin Adorable Awesome Updated Great Location South Lake Tahoe Ca.

Bear cabin was very clean and comfortable. We took advantage of its convenient location taking the shuttle to Heavenly Mountain. It’s also very close to restaurants, shops and the Lake beaches. Daniel was very helpful in getting us settled and how best to navigate the area.

Location is great for both mountains and downtown strip.

This is the cutest little cabin! We are a family of 4 and though it is a cozy cabin we never felt cramped. Plenty of room for everyone. My son enjoyed the large front yard to drive his RC car around. Both kids were very excited about the hot cocoa that was left for them. We’ll definitely be back!

Bearstone Cabin is a very nice, rustic cabin a very short drive (5 min) to the California base area of Heavenly. We had a few minor issues upon arrival that were addressed by the gracious host. It was 48 deg F in the cabin upon arrival, so it took quite a while to heat up. The little wall heaters are a bit quirky, and the one in the main bedroom is too loud to use while sleeping. The kitchen was very nice and well-equipped. Overall we had a great stay.

The cabin was well equipped and very clean. Communication with Daniel was clear and straightforward. Great location for winter activities!

We had a wonderful stay. The host contacted us a few days before and provided check-in information well before we arrived. The cabin is tidy, cute and perfect for two adults and two kids under 12. The kitchen had everything we needed, and tools were available to clean snow from the porch and drive way (if needed). Overall, 5 out of 5 - we couldn't have been happier at the Bearstone Cabin.

The host Daniel was EXCELLENT. He always responded quickly. The home is BEAUTIFUL. He even had his snow plow guy clear the driveway for us twice. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night with his help. WE WILL be back sooner than later. I HIGHLY recommend it

Cozy and easy access

The cabin is small, cozy and it's nice to have a half bath upstairs. Two suggestions: Have two coffee pods available for guests that may be used on the first morning before shopping for more. Also, more instructions on using the cooktop or a website which may help those unfamiliar with the particular appliance.

Great location for a trip to Heavenly! Cozy and well-kept.You walk through one of the bedrooms to access the other, so could be tricky for light sleepers!

This was our first time staying at the property, and we'll definitely book it again for future ski trips. The private driveway is so convenient: you can back up all the way to the covered entrance and load/unload comfortably even when it's snowing. All the kitchen appliances worked well, we were able to hook up our Switch and Chromecast to the TV, and the dryer was very effective at drying all of our gear. Our kids enjoyed the multitude of bed options in the loft, and the inclusion of a bathroom in the master bedroom was very helpful.There are only two things to keep in mind if you stay at this property. First off, there is no dishwasher - we overlooked this during our property search, but it wasn't an issue at all in the end. Secondly, make sure to follow the hot water instructions to the letter (however counter-intuitive) - there's endless hot water from the instant hot water heaters, but you have to tune the knobs just right.Looking forward to our hopeful next stay here!

Truly a great little cabin that represents the Tahoe experience well. It was very clean, lots of space, a full kitchen, and the heating was great even during winter. Thank you so much for the stay, highly recommend this location for anyone else in the area exploring any of Tahoe’s activities.

Clean and well-appointed cabin with bear ornamentation everywhere one might put a bear. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walk over to Thai on Ski Run for a fantastic dinner.

We enjoyed the cabin but since it was located so close to Pioneer Trail it was very noisy with all the traffic and the cabin was farther from the water than I originally thought. We couldn’t easily walk to the lake.

Great location to stay. So quiet and clean. The house has a full kitchen and an outside sitting area where you can have breakfast. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay in July 2024.

This is a darling little house that had everything we needed in a compact little home. The perfect home for two friends or two couples. Close to everything, restaurants, groceries, casinos, slopes, etc. Quaint & comfortable, what more to ask for?
