Bear's Den-Pet Friendly! Close to Ski Cooper. Private lake access!

The vacation rental was the perfect family-friendly spot with breathtaking lake views and wildlife from the balcony. Attention to comfort and everything was in order for our arrival. The host thoughtfully provided games making the stay memorable. Highly recommend!

This was just what the doctor ordered! Privacy, quiet, and clean air. A beautiful log cabin home next to an alpine lake. Plenty of room for everybody (3 queen beds, two twins, and a pullout couch). 1/2 hour to drive to Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive trailheads. Gorgeous view of the snow-capped mountains. Decorated with cute little accents. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals - including spices! Laundry room on main floor. The well water was cold and tasted great. Just a note to anybody reading this. Water DOES in fact, boil more quickly at higher elevations. The stove is one of those induction top type stoves, so watch what you're cooking to avoid spillovers. the old adage a watched pot never boils isn't true at 10,000 feet! Bring mosquito spray if you are going in the spring or summer - the lake is gorgeous, but nature does have it's little joy suckers. We are hoping to return again next year to climb some more mountains.

Everything was so nice. The cabin is beautiful and the view to the lake and mountains it’s espectacular! The kitchen it’s fully equipped with everything that you can thing off. They have everything there! Would definitely recommend and I for certain will stay there again!!?

This house is lovely! Well stocked kitchen and everything we needed for a relaxing stay; plenty of blankets, games, beds, etc. The views were incredible and location to Ski Cooper was close and easy. The host reached out the morning we were checking in and asked if we needed anything. We would definitely return!

The host was welcoming. They were very helpful with answering questions before and during our trip. We loved that they had a Christmas tree up for the holiday season. The home is a great size and very nice. We liked the layout and the beautiful views. We also liked the cabin architecture. It is a fun and beautiful place.We are giving 4 stars because the home could have been dusted better and also one of the bedroom sheet sets were very dirty. We were able to find clean sheets easily in a cabinet. The dishwasher and laundry both smelled but did the job. We also ran out of toilet paper. Our family really enjoyed the pool table. The kitchen was also very well stocked, which made cooking meals for a family easy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but a few things could have made it better.

My family really enjoyed the time at Bear’s Den. The beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked to the hilt (pots/pans/plates/bowls/cooking utensils/spices/etc). Communication with the host was very helpful and easy. Check in/Check out procedures were very simple and concise.Would definitely recommend this property - especially if you are heading to Ski Cooper.

The house exceeded our expectations. It was such a great find for our family. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was beautiful. The views of the frozen lake WOW! It was so close the ski resort we were able to come back and relax eat and head back up in no time at all. Only issue we had was the driveway is at a slope and was iced over. We didn’t notice and when leaving we couldn’t stop and slid into a snowbank and that in an SUV. Did some damage but nothing major. Just something to be aware of. And we are from Iowa so ice and snow is nothing new to us.

Great spot! Only downside was the 2 b-rooms were downstairs and relatively small. Everything else was beautiful. I recommend!

Just outstanding. We used this wonderful house for a ski vacation at Skin Cooper. Perfect location, beautiful property, and the best fireplace ever. Genuinely amazing.

we had an excellent time. the cabin was well stocked with kitchen supplies etc. everything worked as it should. no complaints.

Our family loved the decor, cleanliness, location, grill, location, owners and realty company. Very attentive to all our needs and we felt right at home there. No disappointments at all!
