Stayed Aug 30, 2025We had a wonderful stay at Bearadise in the Nantahala Mountains. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and very well equipped for an extended stay, everything we needed was provided. The surrounding area is stunningly beautiful, and we’d love to return.A quick note for future guests: the drive in can be a little tricky. Our GPS led us past the correct entrance and toward a questionable, steep road that we thankfully avoided. Since there’s no cell service once you get close, make sure you know the route ahead of time.Once at the cabin, everything was easy and convenient. The high-speed Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and having a landline was reassuring. Overall, Bearadise was a peaceful, comfortable retreat, and we recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Nantahala Mountains.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025Beautiful home with great porch and living spaces to enjoy friends and family. Kitchen is well appointed to making cooking for a large group easy. House is a HIKE from the water so plan to drive up and down to the closest designated parking area.

Stayed Oct 6, 2023The home is gorgeous and well equipped for any need imaginable. The setting is dream like, very private on a large wooded lot and a short walk to lake access, dock and beautiful Nantahala Lake. We had daily provisions with us so we didn’t really need to leave the property and were content to enjoy the immediate surroundings. However, the area has much to offer from previous visits in hiking, rafting, scenic drives and waterfall viewing. Host was accessible to answer any questions. We couldn’t have been more pleased.

Stayed Aug 1, 2023Beautiful cabin with a wonderful furnished deck. The views were spectacular and the cabin was just as described. The communication with the host was very good. We had our family with us and had plenty of room. Our only concern was the location is not convenient to go back and forth to activities. Everything is about 45 minutes away with intense driving. The neighborhood roads are gravel and please do not follow your GPS up the exit. (my mustang ended up on the side of the road) there are signs telling you it is the exit....please pay attention to this. We would definitely stay here again but leave my mustang at home and be prepared to spend more time in the house enjoying all of the beauty found right there.
