You’ll be surrounded by blonde wood planks that make you feel that you’re being bathed in sunshine. Bear Ridge has that rustic cabin feel, yet also offers you every modern convenience. A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and flat-screen TV wait for you to curl up in front of them with a good book or cup of hot cocoa, while exposed wood beams hang over-head and the clean mountain breeze flow from room to room.

Kitchen

The fully stocked kitchen flows directly from the living room in this convenient open-layout concept. Whether you are cooking or watching the action from the living room, you can hold an uninterrupted conversation—and isn’t that what vacation is all about Whether you choose to prepare gourmet meals for your family or bring back yummy delights from local eateries, this kitchen is stocked for your every need, with all dishes and utensils included.

Dining

Dining here at Bear Ridge is so convenient- within arm’s length from the kitchen, in case you forget to refill your sweet tea or grab extra napkins. Whether you choose the wooden table that seats up to six or pull up a stool at the island, you’ll have ample places to spread out and eat with your family. Leave your cell phones in your pockets and discuss your favorite part of the day.

Bedrooms

The main level at Bear Ridge features a King-suite, complete with a full bath and a hanging TV for your entertainment, all without having to climb the stairs. Fall asleep with the blinds open and watch for wildlife that might stroll by.

The luxurious Master Suite is located upstairs. Stocked with a comfy King bed and a bubbling bedside jetted tub, you can relax after a long day of walking around the Island. With gleaming wood accents, a cathedral ceiling, and a full en-suite bath for added convenience, you’ll feel pampered when you lay your head down each night. (Or for a nap during the afternoon! This is vacation!)

Outdoor Spaces

If you love beautiful mountain views, then you’ll love Bear Ridge! Soak in the relaxing outdoor hot tub and stare at the stars, relax in one of the porch swings (two to choose from), or grab a rocking chair and a glass of lemonade and take in the stunning natural beauty that surrounds you. The stars always seem to twinkle brighter in the mountains!

Also, pack your swimsuit! You can walk down to the community resort pool and lay poolside, soak in the rays, or swim off that sumptuous feast that you brought back from town. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

I really enjoyed working with Holly and the Colonial team. They were very helpful and kept involved in the entire process. I had problems with paperwork and they were very understanding and worked with me on it. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. There were welcome boxes of needed items in bathrooms and kitchen which was a great touch. We really enjoyed the location of the cabin - easy to access and close to everything. We will definitely choose this company to work with in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. We was close to everything. Nice neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the pool on the property. Cabin was clean. We will rent again. Thanks for the communication.

The cabin description said one thing and it ended up not being so. Dead bugs all over the upstairs carpet. Dryer door wouldn’t stay shut while using it. Only 1 swing when they said 2. Replaced with 2 rocking chairs that were broken and had to be fixed by maintenance. Front and back door didn’t have good seals on them and every bug around ended up in the cabin. Beds were horrible. For as much money as these cabins cost to stay, you would think the hosts would provide you with better quality amenities. I have multiple other complaints but it’s just getting too long at this point. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this particular property.

Close drive to pretty much all attractions and at the same time secluded and quite location, still gives that experience that you're in the mountains, good views, very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen. Really a great place for the price.

Property was a great location and nice. However, the place could really use a refresh. Toaster didn't work, beds were old and not very comfortable, patio was dirty. TVs were extremely old as well
