Make this 100-year-old quintessential Maine cottage your next vacation retreat! Boasting modern updates and breathtaking oceanfront views, you'll have everything you need.

Gaze across the scenic waters of Lewis Cove and Linekin Bay and out to the open ocean. During the day, stroll to the large and open partially-covered deck that features expansive views of Linekin Bay, Cabbage Island, and the open ocean. Enjoy this tranquil getaway featuring 280 feet of private shorefront, and its own beautiful tidal beach. Gather the kids to stroll on the private beach between mid and high tide to collect shells or sea glass at low tide to remember their time here. You will also be near downtown Boothbay Harbor's charming shops and restaurants.

Perched up on the rocks, barely 25 feet from the water, and surrounded by spruce trees, this two-level cottage sits near the tip of Wall Point on nearly an acre of land. You'll be just a few steps from your beach and other incredible open-water vistas, only one mile south of the Appalachee and Lobster Cove Preserves and two miles east of bustling downtown Boothbay Harbor.

Very rustic, charming, and full of Midcoast Maine character, the living space is warm and welcoming after a day spent on the water. Step inside to find antique hardwood floors, recline on the plush blue sofa with one of the provided board games, to keep the coastal fog at bay.

Sip your coffee each morning on the wrap-around deck, where you can watch the sunrise over Linekin Bay to the east and see the open ocean to the south. Sit down with the newspaper at the bistro table or head back indoors to prepare breakfast in the kitchen - an eclectic space with a dining table and plenty of cookware for eggs, bacon, and pancakes.

Spend sparkling summer days in the great outdoors, wading in the cool waters, launching kayaks from the tidal beach, and preparing the gas grill for a local haddock and lobster lunch. Grab a seat on the deck just in time for sunset, and spend the evening with the comfort of WiFi and cable TV.

The bedrooms have exposed plank walls, a steady stream of natural light, and all the ambience of a country cabin.

Thanks to its spectacular Wall Point location on the shores of Lewis Cove and Linekin Bay, this summer cottage is an ideal destination for boating enthusiasts, anglers, and hikers. Take morning strolls through the nearby Appalachee and Lobster Cove Preserves, or paddle through Linekin Bay to reach Cabbage Island, Squirrel Island, or Damariscove Island in the open Atlantic Ocean. Eager to spend a day in town You'll be just two miles from the heart of Boothbay Harbor, where you can book an excursion with Tidal Transit Kayak, peruse the quaint local shops and galleries, walk the coastline at Barrett Park, or sample some famous lobster rolls. The gorgeous Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens are also just five miles northwest.

The famous shores of Midcoast Maine will be just outside your door - reserve your unforgettable summer vacation in Boothbay Harbor today!

Very peaceful pretty view of the water. The wood burning stove was not working properly, we tried many times with different wood. Without heat in the cabin, it was pretty chilly at night. The space heater was helpful, but the circuit breaker could only handle it and nothing else requiring electric at the same time!

Charming, perfectly-imperfect cottage! Very welcoming and comfortable. Clean and accommodating. Truly a little piece of heaven on earth to listen to the ocean waters clapping the rocks just feet from the porch. The perfect location for easy visits to dozens of restaurants and entertainment, but tucked away that youd never know you were so close to popular attractions. Will definitely be back!

First the good; the camp had beautiful views of Linekin Bay. We saw lots of wildlife and lobster boats pulling up their traps. The walk to Linekin resort was nice and we enjoyed a lunch and dinner there. The camp was located close to Boothbay Harbor and we enjoyed visiting there and the Maine Botanical Gardens. The not so good; the beach was very difficult to get to as the rocks were steep and somewhat slippery. It would be very difficult to get a small child or anyone with mobility issues down to the beach. The second beach on the left side we couldn't even find due to the various rocks we would've had to climb to get over there. Although the camp was very rustic, which was fine, the new windows on the first floor did not have screens so we could not get a cross breeze through the cottage which was disappointing. The couch was terribly uncomfortable and the only place to sit. The couch covering was not clean and therefore not comfortable at all. Upstairs the bathroom was tiny and difficult to maneuver. Also none of the bedspreads upstairs had been cleaned in a long time. We found several bugs on the double bed. All in all we made the best of it, but I think the camp itself could use a deep cleaning and possibly replace the couch. Also gates on the porch would be nice for small children and pets.

Great location near Boothbay and right on the water with a deck with views across the bay. The sound of the tide coming in at night was dreamy. Watched a lobsterman tend his pots in the morning. Cottage is very clean and fully supplied with everything you need for a few days. It's not fancy but just what my friends and I were looking for. Comfortable for up to 4 people (3 bedrooms). The exterior needs obvious work and the grounds could be tidied up but it has enough charm to offset that! Jane from Rhode Island

..the view but it was diminished by an old deck and overgrown trees and an old picnic table that took up most of that space

The view is fabulous in this sweet little cottage. We loved looking out over the water watching the tide, birds, boats and ocean life. My husband and I had a lovely time for 4 days. A great place for a couple or very small family. The hiking, biking, local food and the beauty of the Boothbay Harbor are wonderful. If you like to cook, bring supplies, kitchen is minimally stocked.

This home was perfect. CLEAN. Close to restaurants and shopping. The view was perfect and private waterfront created hours of exploration and relaxation without leaving the property.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at the beach house. The owners did their best to make it comfortable and clean. Our dog had a great time on the beach and property. We loved sitting outside to watch the ospreys, sea ducks, and their babies. The night stars are extraordinary. Be aware this is a 1920s home so there are rickety floors, walls, and deck. It appears they have made improvements for comfort thus far. The price is quite steep with all the Vacasa fees for what we got. We expected more for the price.

It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a wipe-your-feet mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat up the larger spaces. Do heat a bedroom with door closed. Since there is no washer or dryer it is difficult to dry any clothing that gets wet in the rain or is washed by hand. I had to wash one bath towel by hand and it took 3 days to dry. Some clothing I hung very near the stationary heater and still took 2 days to dry. The house had been cleaned but only in main areas: Kitchen and bathroom and wood floors. Lower shelves, exposed wooden areas etc were very dusty and/or full of old spider webs, droppings, dead insects etc. There was nothing available to clean those spaces but paper towels. There was no entry instructions sheet posted nor notes for the house. When the breaker tripped as we tried to use the third heater for warmth we were able to find it and restore power but it was not marked. As many of the electrical outlets appear to be just on one circuit that should be noted. The shower is very difficult to regulate water temperature.
