Batcombe Hollow, Strawberryfield Park

Wow what can I say Batcombe Hollow was amazing I walked in the door and couldn’t believe how clean and spacious it was. Perfect location so quiet it was so nice could here the birds every day tweeting This lodge has very high spec appliances and the whole place is so big The added touch of the real Christmas tree was fabulous they grow them on sight Went to Cider Barn on Xmas Eve for mince pies and mulled wine which was complimentary Also when we arrived there was a bottle of wine and still water to welcome us The bathroom was stunning and the bath was lovely I had nice soak in there The hot tub was comfortable and lovely and warm we thoroughly enjoyed it We will definitely come back and can highly recommend it Thank you so much we had a wonderful Christmas 2025!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this property over the last bank holiday weekend. Overall we really loved the place, especially the hot tub which was an amazing temperature and ready for us when we arrived. Luckily the weather was kind to us and we could enjoy the hot tub in the sunshine. The place is huge for two so very comfortable indeed. It is a super quiet area which we also loved. We spent a day in Cheddar and a day in Glastonbury during our visit and it was always nice to come home to such a lovely base at the end of the day. We would definitely like to return.

We had a lovely stay beautiful surroundings, the lodge was so clean and was left goodies on arrival. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch and it was very warm. We enjoyed the hot tub and all the facilities inside and the bed was super comfy and huge would love to come back.

The lodge was excellent. It was roomy and beautifully finished. This is the largest place we’ve stayed in just for two.

We were really pleased with Batcombe Hollow, it looks just like the pictures if not better in person. Tidy & spotless on arrival, comfiest bed & plenty of room with some special extra touches. Really enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub, and have highly recommended it to others. We will be returning!

Amazingly spotless, lots of room. Every room had a wow factor. Our first stay in a luxe Lodge and it didn't dissapoint. Slight issue with ants on the last day after the grounds maintenance but it's expected and spray was provided. Hot tub clean and ph checked every day. Reception were happy to help when we realised the first aid kit was missing and there was a cut finger. Brought it round straight away (in their defence we did decline the final check of the housekeeping team as we arrived early) The decking could do with a little pressure wash to clean out the everyday dirt and cobwebs but it wasn't anything major and again, expected. The loungers could benefit from a cushion/mat so you can lay on them comfortably. Couldnt figure out how to get the plug out of the free standing bath... Due to the weather, the lodge was very warm inside. It would have been good to have some air con potentially but again, nothing major and once the sun went down, the cold country breeze certainly made up for it. Honestly had an amazing time, absolutely reccomend and will definitely be looking to book again in the near future. Thank you to all of the hard working team and family at Springfield. It was an unforgettable experience.

Had the most amazing stay at strawberry field park even better the expected! Everything was thought about! Sooo clean and cosy! The bath was amazing and the hot tub was lovely!! Perfected for a weekend away! So much space! Wish I book another night! Will definitely be back
