This is a quiet retreat on a working farm. The owners are lovely, the cabin is immaculate & cozy. Its 15 minutes from.downtown & 10 from groceries, gas & fast food options. A wonderful retreat from the chaos!
The cabin was awesome the owners were great we had a blast
Although we had a great weekend and made the best of everything there were a few things we wished we would have known prior. It says pet friendly which we were so excited about but it wasnโt u til I paid that it shows u have to pay an additional $100 for the pet so we decided to leave ours behind. Not a huge deal but when you are on a budget it makes a difference. We were hoping to have a more private experience and not to say that we didnโt have privacy as we did but the owners live a couple feet from the house and as you look at the pictures you wouldnโt gather that because the description says owners live on property. When we got there the owner was on the front porch. Very nice but thatโs how close they are. The hot tub is facing the owners house and kind of just out there but also it is a hot tub for 2. Now if you are small people perfect but if you are larger it may not work for you. We tried to use the fire pit the first night and it didnโt have gas but the nice owners got us some the next day but instead of installing it they just set the tank on the porch for us to do. The place is small and cozy but if u r a tall person you may have some issues:). Overall we made the best of it and had a great time. The owners were very nice people and we did have everything we needed.
Rural location, in country with farm animals all about you.
The hosts were amazing. The cabin was a little on the dirty side; we found a pill on the ground by the master bed (which is concerning having young kids). Also the mattress is 13 years old and a little lumpy. Outside and the pool were really nice! The ceiling does leak when it rains and there are a few soft spots on the floor
The cabin is beautiful and extremely well stocked. Fireplace was lit as we arrived making for a warm welcome. Itโs nestled deep in the farmlands which is a perfect getaway from the city. Itโs right next door to the owners property and they are quick to respond to questions but not at all intrusive. My kids loved waking up to the sound of the farm animals and laughed at all the silly chickens, turkeys, goats, cows, and dogs. The new guest hottub to the side of the Cabin was a hit with our crew. The playground equipment is older and shows itโs years but was still plenty of fun for our 3 and 5 year old. (Trampoline had a tear so not currently usable and too cold for pool but it looked super fun for summer months). Easy travel distance between Tulsa snd Bartellsville if you want restaurants or entertainment. A perfect country getaway that weโd book again in a heartbeat.
We loved the cabin and all the entertainment. There was something for everyone. We would definitely come back sooner than October so we could utilize the pool and trampoline. It was awesome to BBQ on the deck and enjoy our morning coffee with th Rooster and chickens they were so entertaining. Thank you for an awesome vacation.. Sincerely The Boos Family
Well I am very unhappy about the ad for this house, We were so excited about spending some time in the pool and relaxing as well as in the hot tub, I am a veteran with a disability and I definitely was looking forward to spending sometime in it to help me, my girlfriendโs birthday wish was just a place to relax and swim and lay out, she also has fiber myalgia and really needed sometime in the hot tub as well, as far as the house goes it was great and very nice! I am not a man that needs a lot to make me happy but I do expect to get what I am paying for, we have decided to leave and head back home because this just isnโt what I had planned for her on her birthday, the grill is definitely not a gas grill and I donโt know how to use it, I spent 45 minutes last nights trying to grill her favorite dinner and I failed miserably and I am very embarrassed about it. I probably wouldnโt be so upset about it all but this is the first weekend I have had off in months and we drove 5 hours to get away and relax, if I would have known the pool was closed and the hot tub is behind someoneโs house I never would have spent the money to come all the way down here. I guess itโs really my fault because I just assumed that I was getting everything that you put in the add! I have definitely learned a big lesson!! Thank you and god bless!!!! I feel I should definitely get some kinda refund!!!!!
We enjoyed the downtime on the front porch and in the pool. Visiting the farm animals was nice too. Lots of reading and game time, even the littles enjoyed bean bag toss and trampoline jumping.
Canโt say enough about how great this place was. Just far enough off the beaten path to feel removed, it was immaculately clean and outfitted with everything a family could need. Got to grill sausage for breakfast on the Traeger grill. Comfy beds, a crystal clear pool, and fun on the farm! The hosts were very personable, showing us around and answering questions when needed. Our two eleven-year-old boys had an amazing time even without iPad! Our tiny dog Teddy seemed to interact well with the farm animals too. Bartlesville had a surprising amount of things to do, from Price Tower to Woolaroc, and Wolf Creek Ranch horse ranch. Absolutely had a great time and would go again! (As many people said in the signed guest book at the cabin)
This was our second time staying here and it didnโt disappoint. Great for kids, lots of stuff to do, owners are great. Already planning another trip for next year.
Great location and the owner was very quick to respond to any question or recommendation I asked about!!
