Stayed Jan 16, 2026We had a wonderful relaxing weekend with our friends here. The location could not be more ideal! In a quiet area but only 10 minutes from Helen. We loved using the fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. And of course the views off the back deck were amazing!

Stayed Oct 26, 2025We had a great stay at the Bald Eagle Lodge! We slept in the loft, which was spacious & beautiful. We had rain 3 of our 4 days. We spent time in the game room & enjoyed playing ping pong, pool & füßball. We even went into the hot tub in the rain & enjoyed that as well. There are many positives, however, It is rustic & dated, but clean (except for dust on the various antique collectibles). The lodge is not easy to find. It is a treacherous ride to the lodge- you will definitely need a 4 wheel drive to safely drive there (& leave!). The coffee machine is old and needs to be replaced. It takes 3 starts to get a full cup of coffee. It is much smaller than expected- no more than 6 people can comfortably stay here. The kitchen is beyond tiny. It’s obvious they worked hard to maximize space for the 5 bedrooms, but the rest of the living space is very small. I have never seen a porch where you walk out the back slider (from dining room)- right into the hot tub! Incredible! Space is definitely maximized to sound great.

Stayed Jul 9, 2025We very much enjoyed our stay! The views really are awesome from this cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the soap and shampoo in the bathrooms is a nice touch that we don't get everywhere we stay in North Georgia - thank you! The beds were pretty comfortable; the master in the loft maybe could use a flip or rotation but we still managed to sleep well.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025Our family of ten adults and two children just spent a week in this beautiful cabin. The VRBO listing accurately describes this property. The view is spectacular, and the house is well stocked with everything you need. The cabin is in close proximity to Helen and all the activities offered in the area. The road to the cabin was a bit intimidating at first, but we got used to it. We drive a Chevy Malibu, which sits pretty low and had no problems. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to others.

Stayed Mar 14, 2025Amazing views and a great location was enjoyed by my family and friends as we celebrated my daughter's 40th birthday! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed for a large group. We had plenty of space and the kids (and adults) thoroughly enjoyed the game room. We had a peaceful dinner on the deck as we enjoyed the beautiful views. I can't say enough about the host, Mr. Craig. He made sure that check-in went smoothly and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this lodge and plan to visit again in the near future!

Stayed Feb 20, 2025The cabin was clean and spacious. 5 couples could stay here, each with a bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet and gated. It is in between Helen and Cleveland. We enjoyed playing air hockey and shooting pool. The hot tub is small, 2-3 people. The beds are memory foam. I did not sleep well nor did my friends. The pool table needs new felt bad.

Stayed Aug 9, 2024This property had everything we needed! The views over the mountains were just beautiful. We used the hot tub every day and enjoyed the view from there! Kitchen had everything that you could use to cook. Game room downstairs was lots of fun. Bedroom loft upstairs had a beautiful view of the sunrise over the mountains every morning. Property host was so easy to work with and answered questions right away. Close to lots of fun shopping as well as hiking and waterfall activities. We would definitely go back again!
