The upstairs bathroom shower didn’t drain well at all. The downstairs sink didn’t drain well either. The dryer made a high pitch noise the whole time it was running. The hot tub was dirty. We had to go buy a pool net and get dirt out of it. The hot tub cover was falling apart. The towels, hand towels and wash rags had black hair on them, I’m guessing from the previous guests. There was a used wash rag in the upstairs shower left from the previous guests I’m assuming. It could have been a lot cleaner than it was. Very disappointed.

Although the cabin is a nice cabin, it wasn't nice enough to justify the price. I will start with the negatives because I like to end on positive notes. Negatives - The handrailing on the porch near the front door is loose. You can see where repairs had been attempted, but it does not feel stable. None of the T.V.s are smart T.V.s, or do they have an internet device connected. Not a huge deal, but again at the price we paid, and three TVs, I think at least one should have access to internet apps. One of the bathroom sinks was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The faucet still had toothpaste spit spots on it. The beds are hard. The whirlpool tub on the main floor was not working. After calling the management company to notify them, I found out that the problem was known prior to our arrival. We were not notified of this before hand. We were told that we would be getting a discount at the end of the stay, but still have not heard back from the management company about it. I have tried to contact them. The hot tub is in a dark area on the deck. There needs to be a little more light so you can see how to operate the controls at night. Also, there are several jets that no longer work in the hot tub. It's time for an update. Positives- The cabin is very pretty in the inside. The owner has decorated the cabin in a way that made me feel welcome and relaxed. You can tell that they care about the people that stay in their cabin. The location in relation to downtown Gatlinburg is great. Just a few minute drive and you are there. Although the driveway can be tricky, it is a mountain cabin so that is expected. The arcade machine was fun and brought back memories of the 80's. The pool table is a nice touch. The washer and dryer worked great. Normally at a rental, the dryers have to be ran 2 or 3 times to dry a load. That is not the case here. The kitchen had everything we needed and more.

It was a little disappointing, especially for the price point. I would equate it to staying in a Motel 6 while paying for the Ritz-Carlton. Cabin was clean but really needs updated and a deep clean. Pros: Very close to downtown Gatlinburg Roads are paved and not too hard to navigate. Gaming center is nice, the arcade probably needs to have the knob tightened on it, but good variety of games. Upstairs entertainment center decent Cons: Getting in and out of the driveway was very tricky. Also if you have a low car don’t attempt. Scrap marks from other cars are visible on the road leading up to the cabin. Cabin needs an overall deep cleaning. The baseboards have inches of dust and dirt on them. Shower curtain was disgusting. It’s yellowed from age and clearly hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. Bedding needs updated. My guess is that the comforter is about 30 years old. Towels - I can buy thicker paper towels then the towels they had. I would assume they came from the dollar store. Very thin and course. Thankfully I brought beach towels for the hot tub so we just used those. No oven mitts in the kitchen. There were 2 pot holders that were probably 20 years old. First night there I cooked a lasagna and burnt my hand pretty good, they are so thin. Searched high and low for something else and there wasn’t anything. Communication with host was awful. After sending several messages, I received a message back asking how they could help me. So I immediately responded with my question and never heard back. Few weeks later messaged again and said maybe I needed to cancel because of lack of communication and it concerned me. Then they emailed, apologized and blamed VRBO and asked me to email them directly, so I did and asked another question. Never received a response. I didn’t reach back out to them about the cleanliness of the property or any of the above issues. Didn’t see the point, since they hadn’t responded to my previous email. Overall it wasn’t BAD, it just wasn’t good for 3 nights and almost $2k. Just my two cents.

We had a nice visit at this location. The property was as depicted though the trees in back had grown since the photos were taken and obscure most of the view. The property was clean and in good condition. The hot tub worked well. The kitchen was missing basic items (cutting board, chefs knife, more than one cookie sheet).

Apparently they knew our hot tub was not working and never informed us. We called immediately upon our arrival to report it and were told that someone would be out to assist in getting it repaired. The following day we reported it yet again and still heard back from no one. Received communication after we left that the hot tub was in need of new parts and no refund or accommodations for a future stay were offered. We also had no porch lights that worked and the pictures are very deceiving about the looks of the property. It is in major need of attention. We will never be booking like this again.

The cabin was very clean and has a wonderful view. 5 minute drive to the Gatlinburg strip. Quick access to Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. My friends and family had a fantastic time.

I was nervous about the drive, especially with the winter storms in the area, but the road to the cabin is completely paved and in great condition. There are tight turns, but my Subaru Ascent never had issues. As for the cabin, it was clean, stocked well enough for what we needed, and a great get away. We have a 1 yo. Plan for 2 baby gates, as there are stairs going to the awesome loft with the best view of the mountains and to the basement with the game room and access to the hot tub! Drive to Ober Gatlinburg and other fun activities were only 20 minutes away. This place was better than we could have expected. I would definitely visit again.

Pros: Beautiful view Homey feel Great Jacuzzis Hot tub is dated but works if you keep it warm Pool table Cons: Multicade is a little hard to use with the knob falling off The upstairs entertainment area could be updated to have new apps like Netflix and Hulu If you are there in winter I hope your car has AWD or 4WD. We got stuck on the mountain in the snow

We spent the weekend here for my wife’s birthday. The cabin is close enough to downtown yet still nestled perfectly with great Mountain Views. Plenty of room for our 6 guests. All I would change is the comfort of the beds.
