Simple Pleasures - the smell of mountain air, the panoramic views, the peaceful quiet while relaxing in the porch swing, the soothing massage of the hot tub, or dining al fresco on the expansive covered porch while enjoying the private setting - all simple, but definitely pleasures that should be experienced after a busy day in the Smoky Mountains.
Simple Pleasures is a 2 bedroom (the master is a loft bedroom), 2 full baths, non-smoking cabin, and located just 6 miles from Pigeon Forge, on Bluff Mountain, with NO life-threatening access roads to navigate. The view of mountains. Cabin is very nice
We really enjoyed staying here. The view from the loft bedroom is amazing! We loved waking up to the sunrise. It isn’t as secluded as we had hoped with other cabin all around. We did enjoy the cabin though!
This property is convieniently located 15-30 minutes from many of the attractions in Pigeon Forge. The views at the property are spectacular. The cabin has everything you need. Our stay was truly amazing.
We relaxed, watched movies, had wine and cooked our meals on the grill. Loved the peace and quiet. Everything you need is here. Very nice and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony rocking and looking at the Great Smoky Mountains before us. Love this cabin; we will be back!
We loved the cabin. It was the best cabin I ever stayed in! It was like a home away from home!! I will definitely be renting again!!
We enjoyed EVERYTHING about Simple Pleasures! The location was secluded with an amazing view of the Smokies! The cabin is beautiful with an incredible loft...and we took advantage of every opportunity to play pool when at the cabin! We got a 3 day fishing permit to try and catch some lunkers! The best part of our trip was renting a UTV to drive through Cades Cove! Highly recommend! The bears didn't disappoint, we saw 10 total with 4 in the development! We would definitely stay here again if ever in East Tennessee again!
We had so much fun in this home. The house was perfect and the views were incredible. It was perfect for a family of 4. It was just far enough away from the towns to be enjoyable.
We loved the place and the view. The owners were so kind and very easy to get in touch with if we needed anything. Would definitely go back.
We loved waking up to the view, having coffee or just sitting on the porch and looking out. The hot tub was fantastic. The owner had great tips and great communication. We had no issues during our stay and really enjoyed it. Getting in and out of Pigeon Forge was easy (I'm good with windy roads) and there were a lot of routes depending on where you wanted to go. Of yeah - we all had a lot of fun playing pool, too. I'd stay here again and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.
We were overall pleased with the accommodations. The hostesses were super easy to communicate with and quick to respond (no real issues, just us not knowing how to use a telescope ?). The drive up the mountain was NOT terrifying or even bad at all... other than - it's not a quick trip to Target. But what else might one expect given the locatio - not a complaint, but a call.out - make sure you do not forget anything once you leave for the day. I will tell you, we noticed a lot of cabins throughout our drives, and their views did not come close to what you get at Simple Pleasures. We were lucky enough to see the mtns a bit different each day (thanks to March weather- ha) - which was truly amazing. We would recommend this location, these hosts to anyone and would definitely return.
This cabin was amazing for our family! We loved the mountain views, enjoyed the hot tub, and the cabin was clean and cozy. This was secluded but easy to access Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas. We would definitely recommend this cabin if you are vacationing in the area.
The views were beautiful and the property was very clean and well kept! We had a great trip!
We enjoyed our stay. Quiet, beautiful cabin, and the hot tub hit the spot after our hikes.
We had such a great time staying at the cabin. The porch swing and rocking chairs were perfect for watching the fireflies or enjoying a cup of coffee. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. We were surprised when we got there that they had everything we needed to cook. There are a few spices and things in the cabinet. They had plenty of cooking utensils. Overall the cooking experience was awesome. At one point we had an issue with the TV and Tom called right back. He worked with us until we resolved the problem. We hope to stay here again!!!
We arrived really late on a Thursday and walked into a wonderful cabin. We couldn't see a view until morning. Weather wasn't the greatest but still the view was amazing. The owners put alot of thought into this cabin for renters. Plenty of towels, shampoo, body wash, plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and more. I opened the fridge and there was condiments in there. Which didn't bother me. In a cabinet they had salt, pepper, cooking oil and other things which was nice. The kitchen was stocked and had everything you would need. The porch had a really nice swing and the other porch furniture was nice too. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing. We thought the bed upstairs was comfortable. We came in Friday evening to no electricity which was because of a storm. There is instructions on the wall on what to do to call and report it. There was flameless candles and flashlights. The electricity was out a few hours and I thought quickly back on. The cable was out until the next day but there was a DVD player with plenty of dvds. The owner did call about the electricity and the only negative thing I can say is when the electricity came back on and the following day when I text about the cable/wifi being out still I never heard from them. Only a few complaints which are very minor, the alarm had instructions on setting when leaving but not while you are there. I could have tried to set it without the motion on but didn't want it going off. The curtains had some dust and the walls also but wasn't anything I don't find in my own house in the spring. I would definitely stay here again. Very relaxing being up so high. Now this has absolutely nothing to do with owner or cabin and they have no control over this... alot of construction of new homes going to the cabin and they put dumpsters, cinder block and roof tresses in the road. So just be very careful driving on the roads. The construction couldn't be heard inside at all. Hopefully this cabin will be available for our next trip!!
Amazing view!
