Amazing Sunset | Ellijay, GA

When we first walked in we said we would be back. This was our first stay at this cabin and it won’t be our last. It was easy to find and close enough to town, had great views, helpful information on the area, and was truly fantastic. We took our dogs with us, and the walk in porch made it easy for my older lab to get in because there were no stairs to manage. Plus the gated porch gave me peace of mind that they could hang out with us outside. Overall it was a fantastic stay! I had little conversation with anyone but to me that just shows how well thought out everything you all do is. I didn’t need to ask a million questions. Everything was answered in the emails. Krissi is a major asset to the team as well. When we arrived, the cabin smelled fantastic and everything was so well cleaned! I’ve already called friends and told them about it as well as sent pictures. It was such a great spot! Easy to get to, not too far from Where I live.

It probably warrants some warning about the difficulty in accessing the property. We were fortunate it wasn't raining so we could navigate the gravel road with a small front wheel drive vehicle. The sign on the road recommends a 4x4 vehicle. I understand the quick turnaround time for cleaning properties, but the later check-in time (4pm) AND earlier check-out time (10 am) are a little much. Perhaps one or the other, but not both. Overall the stay was wonderful and relaxing. I never had interaction with members of the team beyond the email with directions and key code.

Excellent view sitting on the back deck with coffee in the morning doors opened all day then watching the sunset couldn't have asked for a more relaxing weekend. Staff was excellent

From the moment we arrived and saw the spectacular view to the nights we grilled to the time we spent playing foosball this was an amazing property that we cannot wait to turn to. If you have a small family you cannot go wrong with this property. We will definitely be back in the not too distant future. You are close to Elijah but also at the top of a mountain. Spectacular! Blue Sky Cabin is a five star organization and they made our stay easy and seamless.

Amazing Sunset is the perfect getaway to anyone craving a mountain retreat with little worries, lots of views, and an incredibly cozy and comfortable cabin. From the hot tub to the incredible back porch views, we had such a hard time leaving. We look forward to going back to Amazing Sunset. I had to call one time to ask about checking in and out of the cabin. I also asked about some of the attractions nearby and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. It made the whole experience very easy.

We had a wonderful time. The directions to the cabin were very good as we arrived in the rain and after dark. The binder with suggested drives and hikes helped us more quickly get out and enjoy the area. The cabin was well equipped comfortable and had an amazing view. Service was prompt when there was a problem with the shower handle in one of the bathrooms. I would suggest that the main floor bedroom mattress be upgraded as we found it too uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything else was comfortable, festive and inviting. It is a lovely area and I look forward to a return trip perhaps in the spring as I couldn’t help notice the rhododendrons and mountain laurel everywhere. Thank you owners for sharing!
