Nice little cabin and the location was not far from the main highway, so pretty easy access. The area was quiet and beautiful. Our only concerns were the wicker chairs on the deck and the water sistern situation. Other than that, we would recommend.Thank You!

Beautiful secluded cabin with great views of the mountains. Kitchen well set up. Outdoor furniture available but not in the best shape. Lots of wildlife to be seen in that area.

My wife and I had a great visit and rental experience at the Altitude with Attitude cabin. Birch leaves were just beginning to change to their fall colors while we were guests. It was so beautiful! The property is as described, clean, and well-maintained.The view of Pikes Peak at sunrise and sunset was spectacular! Wildlife of the area frequent the property. Views were breathtaking! My best suggestion to renters is to know your vehicle. The owners / managers and other renters have vocalized their suggestions on the property driveway. It is kind of steep, but completely manageable. However, if there is rain while you are there, due to the property's elevation, minor washout on the driveway is possible. Trucks and SUV's will be perfectly fine; cars and XUV's could be too low under the circumstance of wash, otherwise, all will be fine. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!

We absolutely enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was peaceful, serene and had a stunning views of the mountains and the wildlife that visited. Nestled up in the woods. It's located close to several different points of interest. Cripple Creek, Florissant Fossil Beds, Colorago Wolf and Wildlife Center.Highly recommend this cabin for anybody looking for a spot to unwind and decompress and enjoy all the wonders nature has to offer.

Really special VRBO place adjacent Pike’s Peak. A few miles from the Crag’s Trailhead. It was a doable hike, but condition first.

What a beautiful little cabin. Although you're really not far from anything (town) it feels as though you're staying off the grid, secluded and private. The interor is decorated perfectly and the home is very comforable for a couple and their dog. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything for our cooking needs. I would suggest a better spatula however. For us, the deck was the highlight of the home.Great views!!! and they even supply a pair of binoculars to use.I was a little disappointed that some of the furniture pictured in the ad was not what was inside or outside the home. We were also a little surprised to learn.... after making the reservation, that the water supply is from a cistern. But! Not a deal breaker......because they supply plenty of drinking/cooking water. All and all we highly recommend staying here. It is a wondetful little gem and we cant wait to book again!

We absolutely enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was peaceful, serene and had a stunning view of the mountains. Nestled in the woods between Woodland Park and Cripple Creek made it convenient for those trips to town. It is located close to several different points of interest also. We would recommend this destination for anybody looking for a spot to unwind and decompress from the daily grind and enjoy all the wonders nature has to offer.

This was our 2nd stay at the property. We stayed in 2021, were amazed and always wanted to return. It has everything we need. Close enough to Colorado Springs, but far enough away for peace and solitude. There are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby like The Crags, Pancake Rocks and Horsethief Valley. And little gem of Florissant Fossil Beds. We did take a day trip to Royal Gorge Park which is well worth it and an easy, beautiful drive. We loved, loved the deck and view of Sentinel Peak. We spent as much time as we could there! Only recommendation is to have a first aid kit in the cabin. Otherwise, it was perfect!

We have stayed in this cabin before - 12 years ago. The cabin is still a cozy and inviting place to stay and the view from the front deck is jaw dropping beautiful. However, we had trouble getting up the drive due to huge 6-8 inch deep ruts at the bottom of the drive. Our Toyota Highlander could not find enough level ground to get traction. We had some minor damage to the car. Until the driveway is graded, we recommend only vehicles with 4 wheel drive and high clearance. The driveway incident really put a damper on our stay in this beautiful cabin.

First night after killing black ants crawling on kitchen counters and bath, we went to take our showers! Unfortunately the water was cold, the mixer valve was turned all the way to the left but little to no hot water mixed in. Next morning we tried again with same results and when I tried to turn the water off it kept trickling out and would not shut off! Knowing what the issue was due to past plumbing experience I new a new mixer valve was needed and would take days to repair. I called the manager and tried to find another place to stay.

The garbage carts in the shed were overflowing. There were ants in the bathroom and kitchen. There was ant spray under the kitchen sink but the nozzle was missing. There were no kitchen towels/dish cloths. The property manager told us twice some would be delivered but they never were. We were told that they were in a tote in the bedroom closet but they weren't. And why would kitchen supplies be in a tote on the top shelf of the bedroom closet? The grill was filthy. There needs to be easy to find and CURRENT instructions for the electronics and wood burning stove. There was an empty kleenex box in the bathroom. It would be helpful to have kleenex, tin foil, plastic wrap, paper napkins provided. There needs to be a curtain or shade on the living room window, so people sleeping on the sofa bed aren't awakened at the crack of dawn. Guests should not have to search for bedding for the sofa bed in the totes on the top shelf of the bedroom closet. We like this cabin very much and have stayed there before, but there were several disappointments this visit.

Another wonderful stay at Altitude with Attitude! Our third time here and we would love to come again. So beautiful and peaceful, and just the getaway these two teachers needed! An issue with the cleaners resulted in us walking in to cleaning that had not been done, but the owners themselves drove up and got things well-cleaned for us, which we so appreciated. Thanks for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home!
