The cabin was very private and comfortable.
The Alpine was a very clean and well furnished cabin. Everything worked well except the wifi. Receiving and sending data was alm ost impossible even though we had A wifi signal. I never was able to open any apps on my phone. We loved the solitude, the fireplace and the hot tub.
Very close to everything. Very clean and cozy! Hot tub was great, beds were comfortable, kitchen was big. Very relaxing place!
We really enjoyed the cabin. The layout is more like a home than the open floor cabins we usually stay in. The wood burning fireplace was a plus and we had a fire every night. They could use some hooks near the doors for things like hats, and jackets. While it’s not as secluded as we’d like, it was close to Logan which was nice for grabbing things at Kroger. We would definitely stay here again.
The chalet was as pictured/described. Very clean, close to hiking and shopping. Perfect for four or two couples.
The garbage can stunk hard to sit outside because the garbage can was bad underneath the beds were really dirty took forever to come fix the dryer the cabin was nice
My family enjoyed their stay at the Alpine. We traveled with our son (12) and two English Mastiffs. The cabin had plenty of room for all of us. We loved the hot tub and used it often. We didn't expect much with the beds, but they were surprisingly ok. In the morning whatever achiness we had was soaked away in the hot tub. Location was great for the hiking that we wanted to do at the parks. Only one small caveat, we really needed an outside hose. With two dogs hiking at the trails they were dirty and we always wash them before they come inside. We went to the main office to ask and they said that wasn't an option. We would have paid extra if it were. Either way, we highly recommend this stay and look forward to coming back.
All good for a weekend anniversery get away
Nice quiet location, very clean, full kitchen. Trees all around, I enjoyed birdwatching from the porch. Didn’t make a fire but really enjoyed the hot tub. Would return here!
My husband and our 2 dogs had a great weekend exploring Hocking Hills. We were all very comfortable in the cabin - it was clean, close to the sites, cozy, had everything we were looking for!
Nice trip and stay!.
Would have been nice to have a TV in the rooms
We came to experience Hocking Hills in the winter. No disappointments at all! The hiking was wonderful! Frozen waterfalls and snow covered landscapes. Our 2 small doxies enjoyed their hikes too! The cabin is nicely furnished: people and dog friendly. The property management company is excellent with communication telling you exactly what to expect, what to bring and how to enjoy your stay. The hot tub was a lovely feature, and although has 4 seats is best for 2 to enjoy. The beds are not the most comfortable, but just what to expect for a rental home. The living room has great seating. We downloaded netflex movies to our laptop and connected to their tv w our hdmi cable (we brought). The kitchen has everything you need to make meals, coffee, etc. I would rent again.
In the hocking hills area there is very limited cell phone reception. The process to check in requires you to have cell access and they email and text you when the cabin is ready along with the cabin code. There was an issue with the previous guests not knowing the dates they reserved the cabin for and made for a very awkward situation that could have been entirely avoided if the chalets verified the dates you had the cabin reserved upon check in. Very nice cabin but just make sure you verify the exact dates you reserve.
Clean cabin with everything we needed. Great central location. Quiet, woodsy location with a nice outdoor firepit and benches. Hot tub was a nice touch as well as the back porch swing.
The cabin was extremely clean with a great back porch. The rd behind you can be kinda loud at times and the amenities as far as dishes are minimal. Which works out fine for a short stay. I forgot my hair dryer so had to purchase one, was nice stores and restaurants were so close and Christy's pizza delivers. Phone service worked great. Was a very nice feel of the home.
Cabin was very relaxing, comfortable and was a great stay for our weekend! Bedrooms were good size and kitchen was supplied adequately. There is washer/dryer if needed. Would definitely stay here again!
This cabin was super clean!! Bed & bedding were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay! Also hut tub was great at the end of the day!
