Stayed Jul 30, 2023Not many places I've visted in Alaska have a modern contemporary look and feel. This place does. It feels like the lower 48. That may or may not be your style, but if you enjoy those familiar comforts and experience. its a great place to stay. riverfront access, ice, cleaning station. friendly and welcoming hosts. modern conveniences such as digital/phone keys and communication, booking, etc. i hope to stay with them again.

Stayed Jul 23, 2022Very clean and beautiful. Location is great. Sandi and Mark are really great hosts. Great place for fishing or just hanging out at the fire pit. Would do it again for sure.

Stayed Jun 21, 2021Traveling with our family of 4 (2 parents, 1 young adult and 1 teenager) we loved this place. It is beautifully located at the end of a quiet road on the Kenai River, 5 minutes from Soldotna and the nearest grocery store. If you like good design and clean facilities this is the place. We stayed in the Alpenglow Cabin with 2 very comfortable queen size beds. It was a little tight for 4 if you spend all your time inside. But we never did, there is too much to do in the area and the property is setup for outdoor enjoyment. On the property is a private dock on the Kenai, a fire pit, area for outdoor seating, a pavilion and an ice house for prepping your catch and cleaning laundry. Adjacent to the property is a public boat ramp and a little down the road is the public dock for fishing and bird/moose/bear watching. Soldotna is convenient to so many activities. We hiked and fished and hiked and fished with day trips to Homer, Kenai, Whittier and Seward and more hiking and fishing and a little shopping. Sandi and her husband Mark were so friendly and helpful with great recommendations and knowledge about the area. We could not have asked for a better host or a better experience. Our stay was more than we had hoped for and Sandi, Mark and Keystone Retreat made all the difference. We can't wait to come back.
