Almost Heaven Cabin - Best Views Ever

This is our second time staying at the cabin for our spring break trip. You can’t beat the views! It’s so beautiful!

We had such a wonderful Christmas in Almost Heaven! The views were stunning and the cabin felt cozy and comfortable for our family.

10/10 - Can't recommend highly enough. Property was amazing -- as advertised. Views are breathtaking and cabin had every amenity that we could ask for. We especially enjoyed the holiday decorations, which were perfect for the holiday season. This is our fourth stay in the area and we would definitely recommend both the cabin and the hosts. ALMOST HEAVEN is the spot!

This is the second time we have stayed here and it feels like home. It is cozy, comfortable and clean. Views are absolutely amazing. Will be saying again next year.

At Almost Heaven, you truly feel like you're alone on the mountain top! Very private and thankfully quiet.

We have stayed here several times before, summer to beat the heat (10 degrees cooler than other areas of NC or TN) and fall for the beautiful mountain colors. Hosts are always receptive and accomodating, Cabin is well stocked and very clean, many extra amenities that make it feel like home. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy.

We had such beautiful views from this cabin! Although the incoming weather made it hard to see these views most of the time we were there, being as high up as we were, we were in the clouds! Cabin was clean and decorated nicely. Owners were responsive with some very small issues. Drive up to the cabin was a little precarious, we drove our 4 wheel drive truck and was fine. But worth the views!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin very much. It is so peaceful. The location is great, close enough to go on adventures, but the cabin is also great for just having a lazy day to do puzzles, play games and enjoy time together as a family. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the views. The kids enjoyed playing pool and cornhole very much. The hot tub is great, too! Highly recommend! There was more than enough room for the 5 of us.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It was super clean, cozy, and just the right balance of remote and accessible—felt like we were tucked away in the mountains, but still close enough to town when we needed to make a grocery run or go out to eat. The pool table was a huge hit, and the hot tub was spotless and perfect for unwinding at night. Our 6-year-old was in heaven with all the toys provided he actually put down his tablet and played with actual toys.And, somehow, the Wi-Fi was fast enough to keep our teenagers from complaining.Just peace, mountains, and a whole lot of fun. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

This property was beautiful, We enjoyed mornings on the porch with the most incredible views. Plenty of space for our family to spread out. The tub was not working but otherwise we had no problems during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Somw.of the most beautiful views of any cabin we have ever stayed at. I loved the fun steep drive up the mountain running next to a stream. Cabin was very nice and no amenities were spared. We are going to make this our go to spot to stay for smoky mountain trips.

Great property! Views and location are incredible. Was disappointed to find hot tub not working upon arrival without prior notice. Appreciate host getting it fixed, but wasn’t until nearly end of trip. Communication was a bit confusing. Lots of automated messages, some had different door codes than others. Communication was more effective to text/call rather than app messenger. Overall minor things that created some confusions/inconveniences but would still return just for the views!!

Beautiful place with an even better view!

Truly amazing views from this property it was exactly what we were looking for. Mini adventure driving to the cabin may turn some people off but it is worth it. Would not hesitate to book this cabin in the future.

Property was beautiful and was at the top of a mountain. Had great views and everything needed was provided atvthe cabin. Bit of a drive to get to entertainment and restaurants, but the cabin made it a great getaway. Hosts were very quick to respond. Would definitely reccommend.

A beautiful cabin with a magnificent view of the mountains. The cabin was outfitted with everything we needed, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen. The views of the mountains from the 3-sided porch were exactly what we were looking for.

It was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the pool table, dart board, and cornhole boards. Not sure if it was the time of year or not but the wind made it very difficult to enjoy the deck.

We had the most amazing spring break week! The cabin is beautiful! The views from the deck are amazing! We hope to come back next year for spring break!

Property has all you need for a relaxing stay.

Almost Heaven is an incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated cabin! The owners have thought of everything down to the smallest details. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and found everything we needed and more in this cabin.

We stayed here for our annual Polar Express family vacation. The cabin was magical. Plenty of room and the Christmas decor added the extra sense of home to our stay. Highly recommend!

This property was all we dreamed and more. The owners thought of everything that make it the most comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything we needed for a large Thanksgiving dinner. The views were heavenly. We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back.

The name of this property is spot on, The views are amazing and the house is beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need and the mattress was very comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoors as well and took advantage of the fire pit and gas fire pit. Perfect place to stay to get some R &R.

This house was amazing in every way but especially the huge porch to sit on and enjoy the most spectacular views!! Everything was immaculately clean and the host truly thought of everything that you could need. The only thing I would do different is to stay longer.

Almost cancelled due to Helene. So glad we didn't. Absolutely beautiful Cabin and the views. So relaxing , already planning a future trip back. The ride up to cabin was steep at points , but fun 😁. dont hesitate if interested. Now on google maps for directions as well.100 % as advertised

Stop looking. This is the one! The view from the cabin will take your breath away. It’s called almost heaven because you will think you are in heaven. 180 degrees of unobstructed mountain range view. The cabin is so beautiful. We stayed while hurricane helene came through the mountains. The owner was prompt with responses. The WiFi worked wonders while the entire region had no cell service. We lost power a few times but the generator kicked on immediately and worked great.thankfully no damage to the roads that led to the cabin. Thank you for opening your beautiful home for us to stay in. We made the best of the trip and couldn’t have asked for a better place to be during the storm. .

Almost Heaven is an amazing property with incredible vistas. My family had a wonderful stay, and we plan to return in the future. Not only is the view spectacular, but it is very peaceful and healing to the soul. It was just what we needed!

“Almost Heaven” is a well-appointed cabin. Comfortable living spaces, well-stocked kitchen implements, a nice complement of recreational item (hot tub, pool table, dart board, corn hole, lots of kids toys and various games). Truly exceptional views. Our group consisted of 6 adults and 4 children (ages 3 to 5). We had a great time - there was plenty of space for us to enjoy the cabin together and room to be separate, if desired. 5 stars based on the group and what we wanted out of our experience. Some things to consider if you’re looking to rent this property: - Check-in instructions state that navigation apps won’t get you to the cabin; we did NOT find that to be true, but directions need to be loaded and started before getting off the highway or cell signal is spotty. - Be considerate of what vehicle you bring. Within the last 500 ft of the drive, there’s a very steep unpaved hill. 4WD trucks in our group did well. The front wheel drive minivan had to be towed up the last bit of the hill. This should not be a deal breaker if you’ve got an appropriately capable vehicle.
