Almost Heaven Mountain Top Cabin

Cozy yet very spacious cabin with everything you could need. Great layout, very clean, comfortable and a good working kitchen. The host was amazing and our stay was really perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or location.

Wende was extremely helpful and accommodating. The cozy cabin was stocked with everything you could ever need. The master king bed was so comfortable and our kids said their beds were comfortable also.

We had a wonderful stay in Wende's house. The house has everything you might need down to tiny details. And the views of wooded slope and distant mountains are incredible!

Our family of 6 (kids 13, 11, 8, snd 6) had a lovely time at the cabin! It is exactly what we were looking for to get away…a cute cozy cabin tucked away into the woods. The inside is just darling and Wende was a wonderful host. We had Thanksgiving here and found the kitchen to be well appointed for this. The beds were really comfortable too! We really loved our time here and found the location to be perfect-only about 20 minutes from Asheville.

Yes it was cozy, we loved the fact that cabin was very well equipped with many little but useful things. everything went smooth. I didn't even need to talk to the host even once. instructions were so easy.

This was the perfect cabin for our girls' weekend. There were only 3 of us, and we each got our own bed and room. The cabin is so cute, and Wende has thought of every detail to make it homey and hospitable. We will definitely return. The cabin feels secluded and has beautiful views of the woods. It's also conveniently located to downtown Asheville. We loved cooking in the kitchen and relaxing. Thank you!

One of the most comfortable and well-equipped vacation rentals we've ever experienced. The location is ideal—peacefully secluded in the mountains, yet close to everything the Asheville area has to offer. It was the perfect setup for our family of four.We typically don’t enjoy cooking while traveling, but this cabin felt so much like home that we ended up preparing two meals a day just to spend more time enjoying the space. We arrived late at night, and the cabin was beautifully lit and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were seamless.One of our favorite moments was sitting under the covered porch during a gentle rain shower—so peaceful. And the wildlife we spotted from the deck added a special touch to the experience.We couldn’t recommend this place more for anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway.

The home was cozy nice and quite just what i needed

We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday. The cabin was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was quiet and not far from necessities. Wifi and a/c worked great. There were instructions to help us with everything from lighting to operating the a/c. Switches were also labeled. There was a manual full of useful information on the kitchen table and a complimentary bottle of wine. The host was quick with responding to questions before and during our stay. We loved this cabin and would definitely stay here again.

Host was reliable with giving you information. Cabin was clean and well stocked with the small things you tend to forget. View was great and the property is secluded just enough. Rest and relaxation came easy at this cabin.

Everything you would need in a cabin. Clean, peaceful, roomy, view, and secluded! We had a very restful 3-night stay. Will definitely rent again.

We had a great vacation at Wende's Almost Heaven mountain cabin. The hosts obviously gave a great deal of thought into outfitting the cabin and provided everything a person could need, from coffee to lots of towels to shampoo, spices, pots and pans, even an Ingles card! . The light fixtures and cupboards were labeled so you didn't have to dig around trying to find things. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. A highlight was seeing a mama bear and her two cubs walk the balcony. I would definitely rent the cabin again and will recommend it to my friends visiting Asheville.

We had a really enjoyable stay. Everything we needed was there. Very nice secluded location with access to hiking trail right out our door but less than 30 minutes to all the activities we were interested in.

We enjoyed our stay in this nestled, rustic-charm cabin. Wende had everything labeled, which was absolutely wonderful!! Only wish there was more privacy for the upstairs loft bedroom. Other than that, it was just what we needed!!

What a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful house with wonderful views. Hostess pampered us with thoughtful amenities and very clean. We sat outside on back deck and listened to the creek and birds, and a turkey. I needed this!
