Stayed Feb 6, 2026My family of 5 (two adults and 3 kids ages 5 and under) had an excellent time in Truckee visiting the snow. There is a huge green belt in the backyard that's shared with other neighbors, and we were able to make snowballs, snowmen, go sledding, and we found a couple of igloos to play in.The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was cold when we got there so it did take awhile to heat up, but after that it was completely fine. I definitely recommend this property for families that want to experience a snow trip with snow right outside your window.

Stayed Dec 27, 2025We LOVED this place. It had a cozy vibe but with plenty of space, had a great kitchen, the hot tub was AWESOME, and it was in a great location. The loft space was also a super cute unexpected hit; our 9 and 11 year old kids loved to chill out up there.

Stayed Sep 8, 2025This property was exceptional. Clean, cozy and very well decorated for the cabin feel. The hilight of the propert is the back yard and deck. Our dogs loved sitting out in the sun while scheming how they might catch one of the many squirrels. If you're headed to Truckee or Tahoe this is a great place to stay.
